Me and who else?

Can we talk about it?

Sorry that this thread is totally self-serving, but there are so many Cap threads lately...one more can't hurt, can it?

^ No offense but I am neither practical nor a scientist.

Looking for an accurate description, and trying to identify which Cappies here are Aqua Mercury.

Thanks

ehh you cant just read a description wihtout seeing the bigger picture- planets are modified by aspects, houses, AND sign but not sign alone, if you really want to know the deal you need to go to a reputable astrologer or post up your chart so ppl can observe the chart as a whole and come to some kind of conclusion

^ Well, I am comfortable speculating that there are probably some traits that people with this combination have in common.

I assume you don't have Aquarius Mercury, sharpei?

Sun Cap Mercury in Aquarius
No aspects between them. They share major aspects between Pluto.
Don't think my interests are unusual. If anything don't say much unless it's worth being said. Then if not paying particular attention to how what saying comes across from others perspective, it comes off as insensitive, cold and cruel. Also think faster than can talk or type.

I would have never guessed faith....

My older Sister is a Capricorn sun, Aquarious Mercury with a Gemini rising.

Weird since she now has a Gemini daughter
thats a lot like me.

I find that sometimes she has the belief that she is always right because of that combo or she will justify her decisions with reason even if she regrets it later.

We use to argue a lot when we were younger, but since were both adults now we tend to agree more or don't argue with what the other person is good at.

Shes more analytical/earthy, I'm more logical/earthy so we've learned to respect that.

She has a heart for minority rights, but she knows how not to go overboard.

Your mom sounds so cool! (Based on all the things you've said. )

On second thought, maybe I didn't give astrology enough credit...

This is a practical science, and visionary. (In my opinion!)

When I originally posted this thread, I didn't realize yet just how mathematically precise and revealing astrology could be.

That's nice that you two both have strong air energy and can see eye to eye.

I know a Capricorn with an Aqua Mercury as a classmate. She's naturally more reserved than I am when it comes to communication because I just like to barf words all over people, but that is probably because of my Gemini Moon (she has a Scorpio Moon).

She seems to really disgust egoism and is willing to argue, but I would say she's not as willing to force opinions down people's throats as I've seen with Pisces Suns and Aqua Mercs.

You don't barf words!

When I was little I was pretty damn arrogant and strains of that are still evident sometimes. Even though I'm not really aware of it. It just flows out so naturally.

If you knew me in person you would probably want me to shut up because I talk so much sometimes. Online I don't because I don't have much to say often, but in person I want to talk about EVERYTHING. I barf words in person

I don't see you as that arrogant though. My dad is a Leo with Virgo Mercury, and sometimes he can be EXTREMELY arrogant, so I know what it's like. Perhaps when you argue with someone you can give that vibe off because of Aqua Mercury (we are just naturally intellectually superior lol), but other than that no. The arrogance may be coupled with Aqua Mercuries intellectual superiority complex and Capricorns natural arrogance, because of Saturn, so that may be it. As an Aquarius, there are too many times to count when I've thought people were just so stupid

Ok, if you insist you are a word barfer...you would know best.

You don't seem like that here.

That's exactly it.

Then the higher manifestation of this energy could be Capricorn finally learning its lessons, being humbled by Saturn, and with that humility, identifying less and less with our "beliefs" and letting Aqua Mercury weigh all ideas objectively, without getting our egos involved.

Thank you.

My husband has a Leo sun/Virgo Mercury.

Imagine our arguments? LOL

I just don't have a lot to type online. Unless I'm ****** lol

LOL. My mom is an Aries Sun/Merc combust, so she and my dad have some weird arguments. We have a shed for our chickens and she accidentally locked herself in the shed O_O
She screamed for him at the top of her lungs but no one would come out to save her, until a stranger from the next door house did (you can only imagine what she was thinking).

My dad rolled her eyes over it and my Mom got angry, and then my dad turned it into a joke lol (he gets away with a lot with his Merc-Neptune square and Merc-Venus conjunction)

The site won't quote your whole post lol XD

Woah, my best friend in high school had Cap Sun (4H), Aqua Mercury (in 5th), and Sag Venus (In 3rd).

He had an awesome sense of humor and we would spend every day after school together laughing at everything (we hardly ever actually conversed because we didn't need to), and going on crazy adventures on foot (before he got a car) with no money. We always ended up in the weirdest situations.

He had a great sense of style and often either started trends or just had great insight on what was about to become a trend. Lol. I swear I see people on the street who wear what he wore 5 years ago, when people made fun of him for it. He was quite contrary and rebellious to negative or overly emotional energy. Usually in a good mood and down for anything (except drugs, until years later), but would become moody quickly if he felt even slightly that someone was placing any sort of blame on him for anything. (Cancer Moon?). Sort of intolerant of normal emotional expression, it was hard to 'be real' with him even though he was a super sensitive individual.

He was also really into crystals and occult subjects, which we had a close bond over. He had a really powerful, grounded energy despite being so lighthearted.

For the last year of high school he would regularly host awesome parties, he knew a ton of artsy / far out people from different schools. After I moved out of the state he because super popular in his college. He is the type of person who can get away with saying anything and people won't judge him for it. He also seems to attract people who want his coolness to rub off on them. Lol, idk how else to put that. (He has moon in the 10th)

Wah, I miss him.

I'm a Capricorn Sun and Aquarius Mercury.

I think our ideas are unique, and our thoughts are often times looking outside the box. It makes the Cap less conservative and very smart. This person's knowledge will also be used in a practical way. Cap's don't like irrational, but will allow sometimes irrational ideas if the Aquarius mercury deems it worth hearing.

Mercury in second house from the sun means that your way of thinking, which pertains to logic, scientific, is aligned with your values and self-worth. A Capricorn sun has 2nd Solar house in Aquarius so their self-worth always requires proofs and having your mercury in Aquarius allows you to understand exactly what make you, the Capricorn Sun valuable.

I would say it means you understand how to communicate exactly who you are as a person, and you appear to be sure of yourself precisely because you have taken a long time to think it through, see your own patterns and nail down exactly your strength (or others')

Examples are Martin Luther King, Kate Moss and Catherine Middleton. Kate Moss for example popularizes the size zero fashion ... soooooo capricorn! But she can sell that and make it look appealing.

@Electro

That is such an awful story about your mom! But...yeah, funny ...but....damn.

I agree it's sometimes difficult to represent our real life selves online.

In person I usually spend most of the time listening, less time talking. Here there's nothing to do but talk.

As for disagreements early in our marriage we were in a cowboy bar in Montana and this song came on:

We Just Disagree

...which become like an anthem for my marriage...

Let's leave it alone
Cuz we can't see eye to eye...

But at least my husband and I agree that we like that song!

Virgo and Aqua Mercury are both pretty logical and detached sometimes, that's the upside.

@Selenite

Your friend sounds great! Hope you can reconnect sometime?

The way you described him reminded me of myself in high school. Well I have that Sag Venus, too. A lot of people hated high school but I had such a blast. Lots of good friends and good memories.

Yes

We also listen to irrational ideas and try to straighten out the other person's argument, don't we? I do, anyway.

@unknown

Nice analysis!

I gotta get into this "second house from the sun" type of thinking...

Though in my case, the sun and Mercury share the same house.

@Stubborn Virgo

Thanks for the extra details I see myself in your mother...or at least strive to have my kids enjoy my company as much as you enjoy hers.

Faith,

I only mean it by signs.

Say someone has a Capricorn Sun at 22 degree and an Aquarius moon at 1 degree, I still see the moon relates in the same way with the sun regardless of the natal chart houses

It relates in a Taurus-type way then?

If so my chart is VERY Taurean, as I have planets in every sign from Libra through Aries.

it's second house.

For example a Leo sun with Capricorn moon will have emotional needs that are hidden from the Leo sun perspective. Because the moon is there, this Leo would be much less boisterous, would fact check 10 times before making a speech, would be a lot more private and also aware of how to make $$ from other people (8H matter).

I dont know your chart but your rising is Leo and your sun is capricorn, so that'd mean your persona (ASC/1st house) allow you to maximize gaining assess and information from other people (8H= capricorn) even if your sun might fall in 7th house.
So you might appear to be friendly and a bundle of joy but you are always on the radar with what is hidden.

I'm sorry but I'm not following this at all.

How do Leo, Cap, and the 8H all fit together?

Leo and Cap are five signs apart....
