what's your Sun Sign?If you don't have one and otherwise like to protect your privacy online, what makes this so astrologically for you? 4th, 8th, & 12th houses are kmown as very private houses. If this applies to you, do you have any of your personal planets there? I've been told i'm "too private" before. Who can relate and why? IP: Logged |

What's sad to me, is it's almost come to a point where, when you tell someone you don't have a Facebook, they look at you suspiciously. Like, really?  As if you are hiding things, because you don't have one.IP: Logged |

Very interesting. Actually an ex of mine (Sun, Moon, Mars in earth signs) said he'd never date a girl who had a Facebook.Granted, this is when FB was really starting to 'blow up', but to him it was beyond lame. We both thought so. Now it's like if you don't have one, there's something wrong with you. I'll keep it old school and continue to not have one. & admit that i'd be attracted to a guy with that same line of thinking. Is it rebellious now to not have one? LOL  IP: Logged |

I have a facebook, but there is barely nothing on it. I had around 3 pictures of myself there and some more of scenery and I deleted them recently. Cap sun, Cap moon, cap mercury. I am very, very private, a bit too much I believe since it can prevent me from being honest with people about what I do and what I plan to do. I have no planet in the 4th or 8th. NN in 8th and jupiter in 12th. IP: Logged |

I have a facebook, and I'm Scorpio Sun-Mars-Pluto in the 8H with Pisces moon in the 12H.
I only add family and close friends, plus there are private settings. You don't have to tell people what happens in your everday life like some do lol.
The amount of privacy you want with any networking site is up to you. It's not like people can force you to post pics, or give out personal information. Afterall, LL is a networking site too. IP: Logged |

i don't have one. but i am only apprehensive in new situations. i loosen up after a few months. also my life in pictures looks awesome. i don't feel it is. so i don't want to project that fakeness. i think someone once complained on here about people's lives being awesome on facebook lol! sun taurus 4th cap/aqua

Cancer Sun sign in 3rd I have a fb account I primarily use it to keep in contact with friends from HS and College that have moved all over the world without the long distance bill.  4th house Mercury Leo
8th houseNeptune and Uranus in Cap

I have a Facebook account but I don't update my status and I only use it to occasionally message people I don't want to contact in another mode of communication. I'm an Aquarius.I have my Moon and AC in the twelfth house in Leo (although Moon is Cancer/Leo cusp), and Pluto in the fourth house in Scorpio. I've been told that I'm very hard to get to know, and I'm hard to read. Even my mother who I've always lived with said I was private. I think I value privacy more than a lot of my other friends. sun/venus/uranus/neptune/mercury in 12th house. I don't have a facebook. I've been told that I'm secretive but really I don't see myself that way. I don't like when people probe into my personal life, or try to find out things about me that I don't want to share. My other half has moon/venus/mars in 8th house and he is super private, but it is also because he's very possessive, he sort of thinks that if others had a peek of his “properties” they’d try to take them from him =))

I have a FB account. This is what I have discovered over the years. Nobody gives a s*** about anybody else's personal life unless it directly concerns them. So, to me, being private matters little in the ocean of mind chatter and picture sharing. It's like being on LL for 10 years.  IP: Logged |

my dad has facebook. his profile pic is him standing next to a store where some of the letters on the sign were covered so it reads shmuck. it's uncool now. just like when he ranted about emo kids at the dinner table. uncool. the cool kids have custom smileys on pink forums! IP: Logged |

I have a Facebook account but photos and private posts are set-up so only close friends and relatives see it. Most of the people on my FB don't see basically anything private.
They see my choices in music, pages I have liked, favourite movies (place of work and studies are hidden, birthday is hidden, most photos are hidden - other than friends & fam who see those..) The only posts I make visible to *all* my friends... are posts that are extra general like "hmm nice weather today.. loving the sea breeze" or whatever.. LoL - That's not personal. :edit: oh I forgot to add - even my 'friends' are hidden. People can only see the mutual friends we have, but no one else. This is because I hate how some people intentionally get competitive and try to add more and more friends - just to win some sort of FB popularity contest.
I wanted to make sure I stir way clear of that sort of thing LoL There are two guys at my uni... an Aquarius and a Capricorn with Aquarius moon - who are getting seriously fired up about this issue loll The Aqua guy had 1500 friends.. and Cap guy had 1300... so now Cap guy has caught up and gone to like 1800 and something.... Aqua guy is very annoyed with him and doesn't hang out with him anymore.
It's really getting ridiculous lol

Husband and I have FB's, he's far more private than I am, (he's antisocial offline so it's not a surprise, eh). ^^; They're used for close, close friends/classmates back in USA/abroad, and staying in touch with my family back in the USA, and his relatives in the Azores(Portugal). settings are important, like Moonfish said... (our houses are similar somewhat because of our Virgo Ascendants, but he's 3rd decan, his cusp rulers rule small portions of the actual house.) Most his planets are in the 3rd (Scorpio), his privacy issues seem to be more related to his Scorpion Moon-Jupiter, and maybe his (Libra) Pluto cnj Scorpion Saturn. His Venus and Mercury do fall in 4h Capricorn though, 8h & 12h empty. I'm selective with my privacy... ^^; my trust issues are the blame, not antisocial-tendency like hubby has. lol - 8h Aries, empty - Mars in Scorpio cnj Pluto in Scorpio... 12h Leo, but they say 12h Leos tend to like to hide behind the curtains, eh. =) 5h Capricorn Sun, Saturn also in Scorpio... 4h stellium 4 planets there/SN... Moon-Saturn opposition lends itself to the need for privacy/seclusion too~ by most interpretations (if not all). The most private man in my acquaintance is my brother in law... >.<; he won't even let his wife have a facebook. (She secretly had one though, I don't know if she still does, I never bothered her about it.) ~_~ *respect for others privacy is a high priority too* ^^ He's Pisces sun cnj Mercury in 8h, trine Mars-Saturn (cnj) in Scorpio 4h! lol 12h is Cancer cusp but his Cancer Moon (trine the above planets for a GwT) is in the 11h. (3rd decan Leo Asc). He's also not antisocial, just very, very, very suspicious of everyone... very curious fella. ^^; (I don't like my Moon square his Asc axis, I think it's why he agitates me)~ /bleh lol ~I've always wanted to ask him why he doesn't have fb too, the rest of the family is on it... =x it's not weird... there's a league of antiFB folks/antiSN'ers... DBS (Dean Blundell Show, radio dj/host) always has callers who just call in at random, or when the host brings it up somehow, just to say "I'm ... and I don't have/like FB" that's it... that's all they call in for! haha XD (it's a kinda racy program, but I highly recommend it for adults with a decent sense of humour, not so much for chillins). ^____^; IP: Logged |

I have facebook! I have a comparatively large amount of friends but I keep people even if they're just acquaintances. I don't post about my life, really just see if anyone's added things about me (photos, maybe a status). Yep!I have a twitter, just to follow some celebrities and a friend or two. Sun on the IC! I was a facebook addict,then something happened and I left it suddenly,nearly been a year.I was very private though,never put up a picture,never accepted friend request of people I didnt know and never wrote personal stuffs in the status.I still use twitter,have already created 3-4 accounts because I keep forgetting the password or username,havent replaced that egg in any of them. I have sun,mercury,saturn and mars in the 4th house and moon in the 8th house. IP: Logged |

Same here, I recently joined FB and it just seems like a good way to keep and touch and also waste a lot of time if you let it. I ask friends in person if I can add them as friends on FB, otherwise it is more or less a IM device for those without Twitter. Do enjoy twitter tho, it is sort of like instant messaging.
