I've always felt that he is not a guy that you can take seriously (or leave your girl alone with). I’ve always guessed that he either had Gemini/Sagittarius as his Sun.

Looking at his chart, I see he does have a very strongly aspected Capricorn Sun.

The aspects to Mercury (conjunction) and Uranus (trine) suggests to me someone who is both versatile and adaptive, but can also carve their own way. He is original and many people have tried copying his style: that cannot be denied.

His Sun also makes aspects with Pluto(Virgo) and Saturn(Pisces) by trine and sextile respectively; The Pluto trine makes him ambitious and dedicated to his craft(Virgo) whilst Saturn calls for responsibility on the spiritual spheres of his life; hence sometimes he releases strongly “gospel flavoured” albums.

It’s interesting that he seems to dip in and out of gospel and sexual content without arousing outrage from his fans.

In fact, he has gained a reputation of singing about “God rescuing you through trying times” etc. To how sexually proficient he is in bed.(I suspect the Neptune sextile Sun aspect has something to do with making both his gospel and sexually explicit lyrical content sound very heartfelt).

I also suspect this contradiction is supported by Venus opposite Jupiter: This aspect can show someone who exudes confidence and this is why people are drawn to them: They are risk takers and gamblers and seem to be able to land on their feet and even when they don’t, the rays of Jupiter opposing their Venus means that people will be forgiving and trusting of the individual once more.

One is often seen from a favourable perspective by others (even when the individual is aesthetically unattractive)

Interestingly, I think this is the aspect I see that draws me to him; singer of excess, pleasure, spending and “plenty” etc.

His Sun sits squaring Mars; a solo career was inevitable. This is a guy who wants to do things his way and insists on such: Teamwork may not be easy.

Moon in Sag sits at a square to Saturn, Uranus and Pluto.

Moon-Pluto aspects seem to suggest an individual who is not comfortable sharing his inner most feelings with others (ironic though). But this is antagonized by the Moon-Uranus square which insists on independence, freedom and the ability to do what one wants whenever and wherever (Again this aspect adds to the gambler aspect: Venus opposite Jupiter).

He may question if he has shared too much and may not be able to draw the line between what people should know and what he should reserve just for himself.

Moon-Saturn square suggests a huge responsibility to Mommy; perhaps there are some unresolved feelings or some unfulfilled expectation in this regard. It may also mean that the absence of this figure had a profound impact on his sense of safety/family/child-rearing and cohabitation.

I suspect a Cancer ascendant and that would make his Moon in Sagittarius proficient in his chart.

There seems to be a lot of emotional attachment to the past and strong Mommy references in his songs.

Oh but that painful Saturn-Chiron opp Uranus-Pluto is highlighted so much in his life.

So this, together with my gut feel of him-supported my Pisces Asc assumption.

He has Mars in Libra which ime, tends to passify men and have them come off as less aggressive. But I don't see the air Asc at all.
