Actually Venus in hard aspect to Uranus sometimes manifests in a dislike of unconventionality.

I know two people who have Venus / Uranus and they're not into tattoos or piercings, and are actually quite intolerant about it.

Other than that, Venus / Saturn sounds plausible, too.

Hmmm idk My mom has Venus in Aries trine Uranus in Leo, she's is fine with me screwing and even marrying whatever gender I want lmfao.
However she is vehemently against me getting a tattoo, she's threatened me.. which is why I would probably never get a visible tattoo.

My venus conjuncts her asc and her sun (exact), also my mars conjuncts her venus!
I think she's really particular about my appearance, not in a negative way because she's always complementing me on my looks, as mothers do.
I think she wants me to appear... 'untainted', 'pure'? idk

I think you're spot on about Venus in 6th and Venus hard aspect Uranus.

I have Venus in 6th house and Venus square Uranus and I don't have earrings or tattoos; I have no interest in getting either of them either.

My brother has Venus in 10th house, and he has 3 tattoos, so I don't think it could be this placement on it's own.

My Venus in the 6th doesn't care for tattoos or piercings, either.

Although, my Venus (Pisces), actually makes a positive aspect (sextile) to Uranus...but my Uranus is in Capricorn, so take that with a grain of salt, eh?

My venus is in the 4th house libra and in soft aspect to Uranus. I have a strong dislike for tattoos. Piercings to me are ok if they are tasteful and not off the wall (earrings mostly or studs for body piercing. That's it).

I've always just blamed my sun sign for it (which probably isn't the case).

I like some tattoos but am very specific about them and dislike the ones that look sloppy and cheap. I wouldn't let anyone put a tattoo on me unless it was the absolute best. No fading or anything like that.

They are an art form that stays with you for the rest of your life and too many people spend thousands getting bad tattoos removed or fixed.

I I have several piercings in each ear lobe that's where I draw the line. I don't judge others for their piercings but feel dismay when I see badly done tats.

I have Venus in aspect to many planets, including Saturn and Jupiter.

I like tatts and have many myself, but I'm very disdainful of what I consider to be cliche or trendy ones..."tribal", stars, kanji, etc. I really think they should be unique.

Piercing...i'm on the fence on that one. I've had (past tense) many above and below the neck. Some lip, nose, and ear piercings can be really hot. Other times it can look like the person is trying too hard. Those below the neck have practical implications that at this point make me shake my head.

I'm not sure how my venus square saturn plays into this, or Aquarius in my 6th house.

I have Venus square Saturn, (9th and 11th houses, respectively), and Mars in Capricorn in the 6th house.

I don't have any tattoos.
I don't dislike tattoos on other people (many of my friends have facial tattoos, knuckle tattoos, sleeves, etc., including my husband), but I never look at someone's tattoo and go "Oh wow, that's amazing!" even if I can see that the ink is really good quality, or it's an attractive design.

I've thought many times about getting a tattoo, but my thoughts are always something like this: "Yeah, but what could I possibly choose that would be symbolic of anything that's going to stick with me and be important for the rest of my life? I could choose something to represent my son, or astrological chart, but tattoo styles are like any other style...they come in and out, and I don't want to be stuck with the tattoo equivalent of a polyester shirt and bell bottoms for the rest of my life"...although I actually think that polyester shirts and bell bottoms look great, for the record. Too bad they went back out of style about 13 years ago, haha.
So anyway, that's the line of logic that comes up anytime I consider getting a tattoo. What in this life is permanent enough that I want it for the rest of my life, and what style is so uniquely mine that I would feel good about having it on my body for the rest of my life??
Mars in Capricorn and Venus square Saturn is at play here, I think.

Oh...I also have Venus in opposition to Pluto, and Saturn square Pluto, within a couple of degrees (all in cardinal signs, lucky me, with all these transits!). That could be a factor as well.

It seems more and more, people who put a lot of conscious consideration in their free-spirited ness, individuality, uniqueness, etc, all end up looking and thinking like each other.

I was kind of thinking the same thing... Tattoos are entirely common where I live, and piercings to a degree, but not as much as they were ten or fifteen years ago. At that time it was more "edgy", and now I consider tattoos to be pretty standard, along with plugs.

I have Venus sextile Uranus and never was into tattoos/disliked them, but like piercings (tongue, nose, 3 in each ear, snakebites) they are all off now, just regular ears piercings.

I would like to get some tattoos as a way to cover some stretchmarks though. I find that useful rather have art than stretchmarks

That's why I divide tattoos into two categories:

art
or sentiment.

One tattoo can fall into both. People are trying to be aesthetically pleasing or they have sentimental reasons for getting their tattoo.

It doesn't really matter to me what they choose to get tattooed on themselves so long as it's high quality. Even if it seems trendy, it's meaningful and significant to the person getting it. I would hope they would carefully consider the image they are choosing - is it really that meaningful? Will they feel the same in a year or two?

Getting a low quality tat suggests they haven't done their research :/
It's too serious a thing not to, imo, it will be on your body forever! That's even more important than buying a house!

I don't know if it's Venus. I have Uranus in my 3rd house, only sextiling some other planets, and my Venus squares Mars...and i usually roll my eyes when i see one, which is everyday these days. Everyone wants a tattoo...

HOWEVER, I came to the realization that when it is really personal and spiritual it really brings 'something' out in me.

The best i had ever seen, wasn't something so elaborate or complex.

A girl i know has the letters D A D in 3 stars on her wrist. She had it made when her father who really was the world to his children, and his children the world to him, passed away.

To date this is the only tattoo i've really really not had anything but 'respect' for, because of the energy behind it. I love seeing that girl, and that tattoo on her, as can see all her happy childhood through that tattoo alone, and the creative way she found to both honour him and deal with the pain. Her brother had one to, but bigger and also featuring 'Dad' prominently, as he could stand having a bigger one.

body piercings on the other hand, i just never liked at all, they could be quite dangerous to, specially tongue ones.

I guess my Saturn in first house virgo may have something to do with this to, and why i don't care much about them....

on the other hand i guess Venus in the 12th, if i ever do get one of those 'moments' and get a tattoo, it'll definitely be in a place only i could see, and i won't say much abou it....(only tattoo, piercings i really always disliked, and maybe always will...)

I know a man with Venus in the 10th trine Saturn who is repulsed by piercings. I don't know his stance on tattoos but I suppose he has disdain for them as well.
