I. Have a virgo sun pisces moon and virgo rising. When I get angry I can be lethal.... Is this virgo or the pisces element? I can cut people with words, give th cold shoulder and don't forget, yet I can also forgive some people who have wronged me and still be friends with them(not all )I am curious as to how this all factors in based on my sun moon combination Any insights would be appreciated IP: Logged |

Virgo is ruled by Mercury (just like Gemini). I don't know about Virgo but Gemini is great at killing people with words and playing mind games. I would imagine Virgo would be the same. Maybe the opposition to moon pisces just adds "oil to the fire".IP: Logged |

Well anger is more about your mars. But if you have sun opposition moon, it tells more about that you can struggle between your ego(sun) and emotions(moon). But the combination between virgo and pisces should be very balanced. The virgo is more rational and cool, while the pisces moon gives you a good sympathy for everyone and makes you more emotional which is good for the coldhearted virgo sun. I have exactly the same placements as you, also sun virgo and moon pisces:P I can recon your anger problem with people, if someone really irritates me I just ignore that person as much as I can. If I'm in a situation where I can't ignore them it's a bigger problem, cause it can be hard to control my feeling.

My ex had Virgo Sun and Pisces Moon. You guys have no consience over what you say and what impact can this have on the other peoples feelings. Of course this is just my one experience, but expected Pisces Moon to be more empathetic. IP: Logged |

I had the same experience with Cancer Moons. IP: Logged |

I have a take on Pisces Sun and Moon. Because they are the last sign of the zodiac, they have a wealth of personality and psychological knowledge. Now, whether or not they will use their cunning for good or bad is another story. I have seen the spiritual, natural or compassionate type of Pisces, as described in books...But I have also met many manipulative, material, and angry Pisces. Some of them can even fully convince other people that they are nice and sweet! For Pisces it is a question of: HOW do I want to channel ALL OF MY EMOTIONS? positively or negatively? They feel more than most, and it is their choice in life how to use their intuition, emotions, and knowledge.

It can be a combination, including Mars and Pluto with a little Uranus thrown in but the Pisces moon could mean you have very deep emotions. Water sign moons are the most emotional of all but they can accomplish so much by channeling their emotions into other areas. That's why water sign moons are often over achievers.IP: Logged |

ditto. really thought pisces and cancer moons were supposed to be sensitive souls. I haven't found this to be true - they are quite emotionally cold/distant, or maybe our own signs just don't 'get' them?? IP: Logged |

I do know someone with Cancer moon who has a lot of resolve and very strong psychologically so she seems distant but she really isn't. She is able to detach some so she can function well which might be due to the fact the moon is strong in her chart. It's not about just being able to express strong emotions at all times. Since moon rules the mind, in signs like Cancer and Taurus, it can mean people who are very strong emotionally so they can function at an extremely high level without their emotions hindering them. People might call it "detachment" but it's not really the same as what they think of with air moons. Strongly placed moon is much steadier. My friend also has an air sun so this could be another factor in reaching this state of mind which has helped her achieve her goals.

Maybe it's all about the house position. Cancer/Pisces Moon doesn't give the same result in 1st and 4th house.... Maybe that sensitivity is directed in different area. I just haven't been able to see it.

I honestly think it's both lol.My mother is a Virgo sun and when she's angry, she says the most hurtful things, and then seems to forget she said anything. I, on the other hand, am a Pisces moon and when I get angry I hold short grudges but in the end I tend to forgive. Though I never insult anyone. I tend to bottle up my emotions, but that might be because I have my moon in the 12th house. I agree with the others, you have to see where the moon is. IP: Logged |

It has to be something else. I have seen this combo in the sweetest person.
What did his Mars do? What about Pluto? What about nessus?

Hey Ami He had a Virgo stellium of Sun,Mercury,Mars,Venus (!!!) and Jupiter in Gemini. Pluto in Scorpio. I dont remember his Nessus but his Moon was exactly conjunct my Dejanira so maybe that played out? How would you interpret this ?

I have a Pisces moon and have been overreacting to things lately. For instance, just a few hours ago, my kids asked me to buy them a calculator. I said, "No." But they looked so sad, and were hanging around the thing so long that I...the sucker Pisces moon...capitulated and bought it for them. "It's an educational tool," I assured myself. We got into the (very hot) car, and my son says, "How do you get the battery to work?" He shows me the screen and there's a zero on it. But when he pushes the other buttons, nothing happens. I say, "Obviously the battery works...how can you be 8 years old and not know the battery is working? Didn't you realize the thing was broken in the store?" He and my daughter both said that they suspected it didn't work, but they thought I would fix it. This made me angry. Normally, I wouldn't get angry, just frustrated. And I would roll my eyes, groan, and resolve to deal with the issue later. But today I couldn't help letting off some steam. So I was practically growling. It took all my willpower to shut up after a few sharp comments. And I just hate myself when I get like that, but in the heat of the moment, my coping skills were slow to arrive. My moon is at 18 Pisces. Transiting Mercury in Virgo is opposing it now and forming a mutable grand cross with my moon, Neptune, and Mars. Sheesh, no wonder. quote: Transit Mercury Opposition MoonYour moods and feelings influence your communication making it more difficult to be clear when presenting your ideas, and you may take constructive criticism too much to heart. This sensitivity to the opinions of other people may cause you to retreat from heavy emotional discussions, especially when you feel that they disapprove. Misunderstandings are more likely today, and it may be best to put off meetings that you’re unprepared for. You’re likely to have difficulties with women and may also experience more confusion when discussing home or family matters.
http://www.thefutureminders.com/Mercury-transits/mercury-opposition-moon.cfm Transiting Jupiter in Cancer is moving into a trine with my moon, maybe that's just making me more emotionally reactive than usual (?) And I don't see how Chiron in Pisces is giving me a lift just yet. IP: Logged |

I liked your full comment but want to focus on this. My best friend is a Pisces Sun/Mercury and she gets really angry with her kids as well. And sometimes with strangers (ie road rage, which I don't get.) She also says things to people that can be a little bit hurtful. I think sometimes she gets confused because she feels that she does SO MUCH to show her affection, tolerance, and sometimes love to people, that she doesn't understand why they should be insecure when she points out a tiny mistake that they made. The Pisces men that I know are similar: kind in general, astonishingly abrupt and callous in certain moments.

I know one Pisces moon with Neptune-Mercury opposition. I was never able to fully trust her. She seems nice, but... IP: Logged |

I can detach myself fairly quickly under the right circumstances. Only certain things can get me emotional. IP: Logged |
