Hi, just polling the LL community. How much of yourself do you value? Are there any aspects to your sun or 2nd house ruler that shows anything that you can elaborate on?I was reading this article that how much one earns is related to how much they value themselves. What do you think of this statement? Which house would the sun be in to show a relatively unwavering self-value? IP: Logged |

Sun in Capricorn, Aquarius on the cusp of 2sc house. I value myself pretty "highly". For the most part I'm a self-aware, good-natured person. I have flaws but nothing tooooo bad. Yeah I agree with that statement to a certain extent. It is one of the many factors and variables that may affect a person's earnings. I think that people who under-estimate themselves often settle for less, don’t grab opportunities, don’t use their assets and their abilities to full potentials and hence they don’t earn as much. My sun is in the 12th house. Saturn in the 1st. No matter what other people say, only I know myself best. I accept that I make mistakes and don't often beat myself up. Hence my sense of self-esteem/self-value doesn't waver.

with that saturn in the first, I believe you're pretty hard on yourself, more than others are, so you have already envisioned any pitfalls and others would not have a handle on anything you can't conquer.IP: Logged |

With Saturn in the 1st, a lot of people have treated me quite harshly, so it makes sense that I should not treat myself the same way kaka.IP: Logged |

Yeah well I agree, Saturn is society upon your self. Thinking on where my Saturn is located, I would agree. But I think Saturn in the 1st's self value takes a while to build and rebuild, especially during the harsh Saturn transits. I believe you have not had your Saturn's return. IP: Logged |

No I haven't had my Saturn return yet. Things were difficult when I was much younger but after I turned 15, there were many opportunities and things became better. Saturn let me off the hook quite early so I wonder if it means that my Saturn return will bring many disruptions. But those positive changes could be the result of moving to a new place. At the new place, my sun was in the 10th house. I've just checked the relocation chart for my current place. And my sun is now in the 5th house. IP: Logged |
