Are Sag placements (meaning ASC, Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, maybe Mars) the kings and queens of tacit compliance? They are opinionated and blunt but when put on the spot about feelings they seem to resist sharing.

I'd agree with you: saggi-influenced people tend to be straightforward in their responses, but even if they have something to complain about, they rarely ever act on it. They just seem to accept it.

Unless acting also counts ditching asap. Their method of solving a problem means ignoring it, or if it's too hard, leaving.

I think it's cause it's a mutable sign.

So true.

I told my Sag friend already to stop complaining about her boss with me unless she is ready to actually act on it. I simply do not have the patience to listen to her complain about how ''things are done'' if she doesn't have any intention of changing them. I will only complain about something AFTER having acted on it while she does nothing to change what's bothering her.

Yup I completely agree with the leaving part. Sag Mars, when things tend to be beyond any kind of redeeming, will just throw their arms in the air, shrug hopelessly and helplessly and walk away. Sag seems to have good intuition and can tell when something is not going to get better no matter what.

I think it's the mutable energy but it's also Jupiter. Gem and Virgo can still act on things.

I just remembered this thread was open, but I've had the same experiences with Sag suns and moons. Did she have any Scorpio in her chart? I wonder if that's the reason some Sagittarius' do this. Water + Jupiter = lots of dreams but there's no drive to act.

Eh… is it possible some Sags are just lazy?

... Let's try being just a tad less judgemental and discriminatory, eh? I've known plenty of SAG MARS to stick it out - especially when the going gets tough.

As always, it depends upon the whole chart.

While I can agree with the tacit compliance, (namely with ASC and MOON) it could also be coincidental. Seems a bit less jarring than outright naming all with a certain placement 'quitters', however.

Awww. How do you handle her? Sag/Scorp or Scorp/Sag are honestly the most tenderhearted people (or seem so anyway) but this habit is SO frustrating.

I think this is true up to a point....once weve actually fully decided to dedicate ourselves to someone or something we can be as stubborn as Taurus when it comes to leaving!
But getting us to that point takes time and we must sacrifice first to feel like weve really invested ourselves and dont want to start over with someone else...our jupiter kicks in and we believe our rainbow is just around the corner and we will hang on for it!

Saggy Sun/Merc/Neptune, Gemini Mars in 9th

I SO get this too! If I use whole signs my Jupiter falls in the first, and I've stated for awhile that I always felt more like a Sag ASC than a Gemini one. When you say sacrifice, what do you mean? Sags enjoy working for what they want (but won't communicate this)?

You are making me feel bad lol.

well..I can only be me..that is blunt..lol...I don't know how to handle her tbh. I think she got used to me....

BUT it's so infuriating to me. She'll talk to me because I guess she doesn't have anyone to talk to. I'll listen. BUT I just can't NOT act. Thing is gradually I'll lose interest in hearing her pathetic stories and will tell her quite bluntly if she doesn't want to change things, at least TRY to, it doesn't do her good to keep complaining.

Lol not my intent! I understand your frustration though. There's a girl here who does the same thing, and I realized she moved from complaining about the same issue to just love complaining and ******** about life. I can't be around it very long, but her little kids are so cute that I also can't stay away either!

Sometimes people just need to vent?
Haven't you ever wanted to just get something out, but not have anyone come down all righteous on your ass?
"Why don't you do something about it then!"
Hmmm, people aren't always looking for answers to their problems or frustrations, sometimes they just want to speak it out loud and have someone nod and be sympathetic.

She knows that, lol. She's speaking of someone who vents about the same problem which I think is different than listening to someone vent in general.

My post was in response to the OP, so I think it was clear that I wasn't talking about venting.

Besides I can't be sympathetic if I don't feel sympathetic. I may be sounding harsh and may be I am, I find sags very annoying at times. The way they waver over a decision. They are never sure what is that they really want.

I have lots of Sag & Scorpio and I don't see myself in your friend. Though I don't have as much Sag as your friend.

I rarely complain, I'm straight forward (I don't play games or politics) but not "blunt". I rarely say things that are hurtful or blurt things out in the way Sags are often described.

And if I'm not happy with something I change it. Life is too short to sit around in a bad situation.

I am very accepting though. I think that's the mutable part. I accept people/situations the way they are. So I guess instead of complaining, I just go with it. IE, not too many things/people bother me. When they do bother me, I move along.
