I had a similar experience with a crush recently. It was a physical encounter, but in a public park. I stopped it because I wasn't comfortable. They seemed confused. I get the impression the encounter might have taken place in a different setting for them than it did for me.

I want to talk about it, but things are weird between us atm.

Neptune is all over my chart. The only Neptune in their's is a Sun-Neptune conj with a 19 degree orb. That said, our Neptunes are exactly conjunct & we're born more than a few of months apart. Thus, their Neptune is all over my chart.

OTOH. There is an obnoxious Taurus milling about who says I'm weird (they dream about me). Odd because this isn't someone I lust after or intentionally send signals to. Their nVenus is opposite my Neptune. And I suspect they may be Pisces Asc, or Neptune conjunct Asc, or Neptune in the First house. Our BIG FIVE synastry is well aspected with DWs all over the place.

In telepathic communication I've read there are transmitters and receivers. The obnoxious Taurus, I suspect, is an interceptor. I did love someone they share a name with and used to send this person "messages" all the time.

I dreamt that my crush sent a man to rouse me from my sleep; the man told me that my crush wanted to talk to me and that I could go with him but was not obliged. I went with him and he took me to my crush's bedroom and told me that I was free to leave at any time and to call him when I was ready to leave and he would escort me back to my bed. I could feel my crush watching me and he left me waiting for quite a while before he presented himself. When he finally came in, he came toward me as if he was going to kiss me but hovered over my face, reading and taking in my energy. He told me very clearly that he was interested in me but that his life is busy and complicated and that he was in no hurry to get to know me, although he wanted to observe me and decide for himself before making his decision. He wasn't unkind but honest and matter-of-fact in expressing his intention.

Lord, I hope I'm not transmitting stuff I'd otherwise keep private. Surely there must be a way to censor these things.

Years ago I worked with a girl who was an active transmitter, this cause many people mentioned having dreams with/about her.

I had one of those dreams, when I retold the story I lied about it - I said I dreamt of a fight. She stopped me midway through and questioned whether I dreamt of a fight of shooting. I was stunned!! Her SO was involved in a shooting in my dream, but I didn't want to alarm her so cleaned it up and said fight. How did she know??

I have another person I like much and dream him, but not too frequently.

First guy has SA, UR in my 12th with my UR in his 12th, both Neptunes conjuncted and touching our ASC.

With 2nd person: His sun in my 12th,
his neptune in IC exact conjunct with my UR..
His Venus is in my 1st, exact conjunct with my Neptune, both of them 4dgree conjunct my Asc.

and my venus conjuncts his Mars, Jupiter and NN in his 12th house.

The MAIN thing is ...
The person they dream of is a symbol and over-arching Ideal or message of 'something' missing or some quality or notion that they aspire to.

Dreaming the dream, your psyche tries to define or grasp the thing-Missing. There's a fulfillment to be had.
