sun, mercury and mars in 8th house

I've had sun/venus in 8th house composite and it was extremely EXTREMELY difficult for both of us to let go years after we knew we were both over it

do others of you who have similar experience love or hate composite 8th house planets?

A composite is a chart calculated with the planetary positions' midpoints between two people. For example, if person A has Mars in 15ēdegrees Taurus and person B has Mars in 15ēdegrees Pisces, then the Mars in the composite chart would be in 15ēdegrees Aries, the midpoint between A and B's Mars.

This is a chart that shows how a relationship as a separate entity is.

8th house is the house in which we learn what it means to get deeper in terms of intimacy, what it means to bond beyond the superficial level, so in a composite, even if it's not about romance, it can show potential bonding beyong the superficial level, and learning what it really means. Then there is also the joined resources side, that the couple might end up sharing resources like owning a house together, being responsible for each other's resources and dealing with what belongs to both too.

So while in the 7th house we begin to form relationships and acknowledge the other, in the 8th it gets deeper. that is why it transforms us, whether or not we realize it. And that is why it can bond strongly.

Thanks, Aries. I think I still have a lot to learn in regard to composites and synastry.

Interesting perspective about the 8th house. It makes me feel a bit better knowing that it is the next step from the 7th house - makes it a bit less scary.
