So I've been seeing a guy lately (Aquarius Sun and Moon), and have actually just been swept off of my feet. Checked synastry, and one of our closest aspects is a conjunction between my Moon and his Venus (also in Aquarius). I find that Moon/Venus is a very romantic aspect, a bit like Neptune but less fantasy (and therefore less disillusionment).

What have your experiences been with Moon/Venus?

his moon trine my venus (and other planets), so it's a bit hard for me to single it out from the bunch, but yeah I like these moon trines, think they balance out the squares n oppositions in our synastry.

On astro.com it's said that flowing aspects between moon/venus help to diffuse tension in time of conflicts, and it's true for us.

Well, I have the trine aspect natally in Cancer(Moon) and Scorpio(Venus) and I try to be an agreeable mate.

But sometimes it gets tough; Moon opposes Mercury(Capricorn) and Moon squares my Mars(Libra).

So many times, I may not be the "placid", "easygoing" folk that I'd like to be.

I think the aspects help, but I'd say that tension can and will erupt from other positions.

The saving grace would be that you remember that it is the inner character(Moon) of that person that you love(Venus). And that never changes so why should the love stop because of disagreements?

The opposition and square aspects between the two though, can be damn uncomfortable. One person will always seem to lay conditions for the other before they approve of the relations between them. And that's no fun.

Hmm, does your Moon/Mercury/Mars form a T-square? But in any case, I think it's a very smooth aspect, and in your case, could be an outlet for tension.
Yes, yes I like how you described the relationship. A kind of pure love, almost. And true, hard aspects might be a pain in the a--, but I'd take it over, say, Moon square Saturn, haha.
