I have my sag sun conjunct my libra asc, there are times when I just feel absolutely fabulous lol I can't explain it but I feel like I shine. The only downside is that I can feel like my ego is too big and some might be put off by this. Anyone else like or hate this placement? IP: Logged |

Do you mean a sextile? I have an exact trine with Sun/Aries and Sag/Asc and I know what you mean, although I have no desire to be famous (12th house ruler) I do feel positive and at peace with myself. I feel like I can accomplish anything I put my mind to as long as it's sincere. Powerful aspect. ------------------ "For all those who believe, expect a miracle.” Linda Goodman 1925-1995 IP: Logged |

I have this placement but in cancer. Sometimes...yeah...i do feal great...but there are quite some aspects in my chart indicating that I have troubles with my self-identity and self-worth, partly caused by my childhood. So, no, I don't feel like a supastar all the time BUT I often hear that I come across as "strong" (not in a physical way, i am slim ) I make my sun conj. asc resp. for that opinion of me IP: Logged |

Could be that. But I would expect a conjunction or opposition to hold some more weight. And a square with your sun in the 10th house!!Any thoughts on ASC opposition Sun? IP: Logged |

I heard Sun opposing your Ascendant turns you into a petiole magnet. Something about you draws people to you. As if they look up to you as a some type of "figure" Sun in conjunction to ASC makes you want to "show" yourself to people. Instead of you being the magnet, they are the magnet to you.. IP: Logged |

I have sun trine ascendant and sometimes I do feel like a mini celebrity. Whether its for good or bad I always feel like people notice me (but that might be my pluto in1st). I usually don't enjoy attention though IP: Logged |

My Libra Sun in the 10th makes an almost exact sextile to my Sag rising. I want to work hard and become renowned for my talents in the journalism/writing/humanitarian spheres. I've always had a strong sense of purpose when it comes to my career. I naturally have a big personality and have always considered myself a special, unique person. I agree that the dark side of Sun-ASC is ego/power trips. IP: Logged |

Yes, I've heard that and I have Jupiter in the 1st house and I really have never been fat. I had some phases when I were not petite anymore but I really have never been fat IP: Logged |

people are no magnet for me. I am much of a loner and have been told repeatedly by close friends that I shall pay more attention to people IP: Logged |

That would place your sun in the 7th house or even in the 6th house. Relationships should be important for you or you are a workoholic IP: Logged |

Workaholic rings true. And I'm a loner, but people have always been drawn to me and have some kind of admiration for me. My rising is opposite my sun. Could just be the Aquarius ruling me IP: Logged |

That is true I must admitt I know someone with sun in his 7th house opposing his asc. Relationships are very important to him and he is a workholic (but other factors play roles in that). He is very attractive (sun conj venus) but he WANTS to be popular. He feels dreadfully rejected if someone is neutral to him only. I wouldn't say he is a people magnet, he is more of a wannabe people magnet IP: Logged |

That def doesn't ring true for me. Always been the loner type. Never cares for the spotlight, I DO cherish relationships but only genuine ones. I feel the conjunction/opposition to sun/asc makes the focus on the external very strong, but in different ways. From my experience, sun conj asc wants to be noticed while sun oppos asc simply wants to share. But both aspects make great leaders (from what I've noticed)

Don't get me wrong. I did not mean that everyone with that aspect is a wannabe people magnet, i was trying to say that not everyone with that aspect is a people magnet. Of course some people with that aspect are people magnets. I am no born leader. To be honest I hate taking responsibilities. I often hear that I shall be a born leader with that aspect but def. I am not. IP: Logged |

I believe those with the hard aspects there are meant to bring the world somewhere. I see leadership qualities in all of then In different ways IP: Logged |

I would have to agree with this. I have semisquare Sun, so it probably doesn't have as strong as an influence. But I also have a first house stellium, so I am bound to draw people to me even if I would rather be alone at times. IP: Logged |
