I have a book "Have I met you before?" (the authors' names escape me but I will edit once I find the book)

And it talks about conjunctions between the planets between you and people you know. For example: moon conjunct mars is supposed to represent a mother/son past life connection etc

I am sure that the house overlay in synastry is also important, but I wanted to see if any of you have found this in charts with your siblings, etc?

For ex: with my little brother I have my moon conjunct his sun and his mars conjuncts my stellium in cancer. My older brother has his moon conjunct my stellium in cancer, my younger brother has his moon conj my mom's moon and asc

ps happy friday!

My mother and I have Aquarian moons and have fixed Sun signs (she's Leo, I'm Scorpio), and mutable rising (hers Pisces, me Gemini). My dad is Leo Sun and Scorpio moon (fixed, fixed), don't know his rising.

My sister's have mutable Sun signs (Sagittarius and Pisces), and both have Leo rising and Gemini moons!

So my mother and I are fixed-mutable-fixed and my sisters are mutable-fixed-mutable.

The synastry in these simple sun, moon and rising signs is amazing.

There's definitely a karmic connection within my family; it truly seems like we have collective karma that we must deal with together.

My dad is a Sagittarius Sun, and I have Jupiter in the 10th House in a loose conjunction with the MC (Midheaven represents the father). I do aspire to integrate many of his positive qualities into my own persona. Also, his Libra Moon, and my paternal grandfather's Libra Sun, are conjunct my Chiron and North Node in the 7th House. They are very influential figures in my life.

My mom's birthday is the day before mine so our Suns are conjunct in Leo. She has Cancer Rising, and Cancer is the sign on the cusp of my 4th House (Imum Coeli represents the mother). She has two very karmic aspects: Chart ruler Moon exactly conjunct Ceres, and both are in a septile aspect to Saturn.

Moon Conjunct Ceres: You are a natural nurturer, a true Earth Mother type, likely having a strong interest in growing and preparing food. You have very close bonds with your children, whether of the flesh or of the heart, and will go to any lengths to provide for their needs. You might suffer the pain of separation from them at some time, and feel devastated by the loss. You have a big heart and may come to feel that all people are your children.

100% correct. She has 10 siblings and she's definitely the head chef among all of them, and she'd go above and beyond for me and my sister. Interestingly enough, I've contemplated living in China around the time of my Saturn Return (I'd like to attend Xiamen University, and eventually conduct business in Hong Kong), so that might be the separation that is mentioned in the description.

Moon Septile Saturn: There is an element of fate in your relationship with your parents and in their relationship with each other. The support and nurturance you needed and the lessons of discipline and responsibility probably seemed to be provided or guided by an invisible force. Just by being who they are, your parents set you on a path toward your destiny. The issues of security and achievement have a strange dynamic in your life.

I would not exist if not for the HUGE decisions and sacrifices my maternal (and paternal) grandparents made at the right places and the right times.

Saturn Septile Ceres: Destiny has a hand in shaping your relationships, and parental roles play a key part in your life. You feel some sort of divine imperative to fulfill the functions of nurturing and responsibility, and may often recognize the influence of an invisible presence guiding your decisions and directing the events of your life. You may have to deal with experiences of loss and abandonment, and these shape your emotional patterns and strengthen the commitment to fulfill your felt destiny. Your level of commitment is deep and emanates from a spiritual awareness that you may not be able to understand or explain, but that you never seriously question.

Loss and abandonment... one of the major decisions/sacrifices my maternal grandfather (Capricorn Sun) had to make was leave his family in Central America in order to come to the U.S. (with his two eldest sons) to work and make money to send back home and eventually bring the family over here. My mom was six at the time, and they were reunited a year later.

Now my younger sister... she's a Gemini Sun (conjunct Mercury, Mars and Vesta), Libra Moon, and Leo Rising. I haven't studied her chart in depth, but the first things I noticed were:
1.) Her Virgo North Node in 1st House is exactly conjunct my Virgo Mercury
2.) My Leo Sun closely conjunct her Ascendant from the 12th House
3.) Her Pisces Jupiter and Pallas closely conjunct my Aries Ascendant
4.) Her Taurus Venus and Ceres conjunct Midheaven
5.) Her Sagittarius Part of Fortune closely conjunct my Capricorn Midheaven
6.) Her Chiron closely conjunct IC

My sister has been a dancer for most of her life (ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, etc.), and as a freshman she made Varsity Song at our high school, so she knows how to express herself through dance and DEFINITELY through words, but I don't think she has developed a deep sense of identity/self. Her 1st House is empty with the exception of her North Node, and in my opinion having a Gemini stellium doesn't help. I think the karmic connection on my part is to help her develop her sense of identity/self through communicating (Virgo Mercury conjunct her NN), which I do, but I'm not very tactful about it -- I impart warm wisdom (Moon in 1st) or cold truths (Saturn Conjunct AC), whichever is necessary.

I need to study her chart a bit more, but I'm beginning to get an idea of what the karma consists of/calls for us to do.

Ahh... writing helps me organize the million thoughts that plague my mind

I'm going to argue that you can have a karmic connection without having any aspects... and this is still fulfilling the karma.

My mother and I had Karma-Karma conjunction (the asteroid Karma). However most of my planets are located between 13-23 degrees. This means that in my chart everything aspects almost everything else. It also means that in synastry I can have people with whom I don't have almost any aspects. For instance my Mercury forms 6 major aspects with my sister's planets (not counting her angles, nodes, and dwarf planets). However with my mother I have almost no aspects at all, including her Sun, which is utterly unaspected.

So what we have here is Karma conjunct Karma--clear karmic connection--yet no aspects (which made her feel almost like a stranger, although I know that she loved me and did her best to protect me and nurture my dreams). It's interesting that this feeling of being two strangers had a major impact on me, shaping the adult I am today. So I believe it's this sense of "loneliness" that fulfilled the karma.
