Virgo placements, they always take an opposing opinion or at the very least they try to refine your point or correct it somehow. Aqua I know do this too, but not as readily.IP: Logged |

This is just a very basic definition but to me, a contradictory person is one whose behavior, personality, beliefs or opinions are apt to major fluctuations in a very short period of time. One day they will be one thing, and before you know it, the next day they will be something else, negating what they once claimed they were.What indicates that in the chart? Oppositions between personal planets only, in my opinion. I think with outer planets it creates an internal tension that doesn't necessarily manifest in a way that would deem someone contradictory but I believe oppositions and even squares between Sun and Moon and especially Mercury and Moon (as someone noted) would be extremely apparent as opposed to Moon/Pluto, for example. I also think squares to the ASC by Sun, Moon, and Mercury could be a culprit. IP: Logged |

This is me, I am this way! Both good and bad I guess... I am a virgo sun opposite pisces moon, so thats lots of mutable and oppositions. Also moon opposite mars in virgo. Then my jupiter makes a lot of oppositions to all my cap-outer planets, and my mercury is badly squares by them too. My mercury and moon/mars is also involved with a t-square with Uranus. I have a great intuition though. Whenever I FEEL something, its almost always right. I easily pick up peoples moods and secret intentions. But I just dont really know what to DO with it, you know. So I just adapt to whatever situation I am in. I just deliver what people expect from me, most of the time. But when I get over that point with people who are together with me for a longer time-span, I cant hide anymore, and I become myself more and more and relax. My mood swings constantly still, so I think I can seem really confusing (even to myself also) and contradicting (first when you saw me I was so happy and nice, but now I'm just angry and sad). I constantly change, even my opinion about stuff. But I do believe my core-values are much the same, and in my home, I am myself, and in front of people I know well. I am also very cancer/capricorn-influenced, and I know this cardinal people are also very "simple". I am not THAT complex, but confused, sensitive, adaptable and intuitive yes IP: Logged |

I think i know what it means but i want someone to explain it to me so i can be sure of it. And the last part i dont know i just wrote it like that but most importantly people understood what i meant.

They may not know what you mean. I've noticed people on LL tend to work with their own definitions which lead to a lot of confusion as people are talking about completely different things while believing they're talking about the same thing. As far as you know they may have something very different in mind than you do. OTOH, since you don't seem that sure yourself I guess it doesn't matter in this case.  IP: Logged |

People understood what i meant bc the little explanations i have gotten already i can recognize this person with having.

People tell me i'm contradictory way to often, that i am very diffrent from what they expected. This is because people like to stereotype allot, and i have allot of interests. I am very much into weigthlifting and martial arts and in turn i'm very muscular, i also have somewhat of a reputation regarding illegal activities... some true, some not so true. so when people learn that i speak more languages than them or start talking about quantum mechanics or neoclassical ecomomics, or anything on a more intellectual level than drugs and training people look very preplexed.
So i guess i may appear very contradictory to many people.
Astrology wise, i think this is strongly tied to the fact that i am a Gemini sun, and in my chart the sun is qute strong as its conjunct my ruling planet. I also have tons of other factors in my chart that might play in like uranus square moon, mercury conjunct asc, lots of oppositions to pluto etc. IP: Logged |

^^I'm the same way. So many people see a side of me and think they know all there is to know about me and can be surprised and even shocked to find there's a lot more, and it doesn't go with the common stereotypes. I suppose it might be my Libra on the Scorpio cusp Pluto keeping parts of myself hidden, though that's not always the case when people make instant assumptions about me. And it's Third House which equals Gemini. I also have a Gemini MC that likes to connect all the pieces together, that is I see how everything is linked (or I look for the connections) so that all subjects mix together which is different from how most other people are. Both I and my Beloved are/were like this and it's what I think of when I think of a "walking contradiction"; someone who's out of the box, someone who defies the stereotypes. Not someone who literally contradicts themselves in the way that PisceanDream is describing, which I personally do not identify with. The only planet in my chart that isn't in opposition to another is Jupiter. I also have Uranus aspects (Moon-IC/MC, Mercury, and Venus). My Beloved had a Sun-Moon opp. and also had Uranus involved in his chart.

With Uranus, Mars, Neptune, Saturn, Mercury, and Venus all in a stellium on my ascendant is say it's made me a contradictory person, so much different energies fighting for expression. I feel like I'm everything wrapped into one unit haha. IP: Logged |

Well I have Virgo ASC/Gemini Sun/Scorpio Moon/Cancer Mercury/Leo Venus/Capricorn Mars and I feel like a hot mess most of the time!!!!Too many elements competing with each other. Some would say this makes me balanced, I say...hogwash. The biggest conflict is probably my ASC/Sun square. Horrible. I feel like my inner child is subdued by my rigid exterior so I end up feeling like a wierdo. I also have resting "***** face" apparently which couldn't be further from reality. I've been told more than once "Wow I thought you were a ***** but you're actually a really cool person." Nice. IP: Logged |

Look for signs in different elements.
I've literally got:Aries - Mars/Moon
Gemini - Sun/Mercury
Scorpio - Asc/Pluto
Taurus - Venus
Cancer - Jupiter
Capricorn - Saturn
They all contradict eachother tbh.
