Venus is relations(Libra)and security(Taurus).

Venus in 4th suggests that you desire relations with others to be intimate and nurturing(4th).

This placement also suggests that your sense of security(Venus) is very much centered around intimate relations, nurturing and home(4th).

So when Pluto makes a square aspect with Venus, Pluto will supply energy to Venus. This placement of Venus will be heavily emphasized.

Pluto comes with aggression. And with the square, the aggression tends to explode suddenly.

Your need to intimately relate will be that much greater. And there is likely to be some insecurity surfacing if the feeling is not attended to.

This could play out in a number of ways;

Financially, you could concern yourself with saving money or creating some sort of monetary nest egg.

Emotionally, you could require deeper assurance and attention. You will demand more from your family, friends and lover.Even yourself.

If there is no lover, you could find yourself drawn to someone with strong water placements.

You may be drawn to drama or create drama. In order for you to feel emotionally "alive". Crisis situations may attract you.

Physically, you may come to appreciate yourself more.Pay more attention to how you look.Or when you are dissatisfied, you may make changes to your wardrobe.

Overall your feelings(Venus)are heightened (Pluto). And with this new "awareness", certain things that don't measure up will be scrapped. And those that do,will be sought after.

Thank you.

I have been reading different articles and it mostly focuses around relationships ending, or death of a parent or something equally depressing.

Could it also be a move of location or an event such as a step-child coming to live with me fill-time?

No interpretation is neat. And not one site will be able to successfully interpret ALL.

If I was you, what I would watch out more for during this time, are my feelings.Pluto sitting on your Venus by square suggests that your feelings will linger.

Scorpio-aligned Pluto hitting Venus suggests that you become vigilant in the area of relations(including step-children)and security.

I don't know how your relationship with your step-child is like, but if you two are close, this aspect will bring you two closer.

If not, this aspect could highlight the "disconnect" that you two have.

If its a move. Again your feelings with regards to the new area will be intense. You either will really feel "renewed" by it or totally hate it.

But since you are the one who is going through the transit, you will be the one who is especially sensitive to the nature of the relationship or the move.

It could be a good idea you get your husband to support you (in either the move or the relation with the step child)and be able to talk about your feelings openly.

You will become extra sensitized to things. In relation to your step child it could be rebuffs, emotional distance or anything that suggest that relations are not as strong or as deep as you may have thought. Bringing on a lot of insecurity(square Venus).

Or when it comes to the move, you could feel isolated from your friends or feel completely unable to make new friends/ connect with the new area.Again bringing on a lot of insecurity(square Venus)

Death is such a buzzword for anything written about Pluto. Don't take it to heart. So many astrologers just want to make this planet so scary and Gothic.

I'd say look out more so for metaphorical "deaths" than literal ones. In other words, transformations. A 4th House Venus can make you very stuck in your comfort zone, in regards to romance, and a tense square from Pluto can definitely change that. A new way of relating to people, particularly love interests or significant others, will probably be a dominant theme throughout this transit. Getting rid of old patterns in relationships that are no longer working.

Pluto transits can be difficult but only if you resist the changes that are happening. If you learn to go with them, and not try to control the events around you too much, it can result in amazing personal growth.

Things on the home front can definitely transform, as well, and certain issues with your family background might be brought up to the surface to be worked out and overcome. Is your stepchild really planning on coming to live with you? Because that could definitely be one of the changes.

For those with fixed angular points i.e Asc in Aqua, Leo, Sco and Tau, the ingress of Pluto into Sco may mean a life perspective shift/change. This in particular the following months from March 2023 to Jan 2024

For those with Pluto on the Asc or MC/Ic axis, there is likely going to be changes ahead or recent changes already passed.

This could be a move/renovation/1st time home purchase/a death circumstance of someone very close/ a birth circumstance / a marriage/a health issue or career rehaul or upgrade etc.

I am watching this transit because my sister has Asc in Leo whilst my nephew has Asc in Sco. So this transit will be meaningful for them.

I want to see what the ingress does i.e. whether or not it stimulates the aforementioned or other changes that are as monumental as the energy of Pluto can evoke.

All Pluto transits, especially those of a hard nature (squares, oppositions, etc), create pressure for change upon the natal target of the transit. It works through intensifying personal feelings from the inside and/or by attraction/repulsions in your outer relationships.

Pluto is about deep growth, the kind that is not comfortable, but is needed for our empowerment.

Pluto in transit square natal Venus is about a reshaping of values, priorities, affections, and understanding of love, even of personal boundaries and self-esteem. Very personal if Venus is in the 4th house.

Pluto is saying there must be empowerment and depth to your love, values, and close relationships and it will be happening now/near future, whether you like it or not.

It can be a very good time to push your creativity in ways you have not before. Just beware of the more destructive compulsions that can come from lust, greed, etc. It could also be a time in which you have the passion to stand up for a relationship that those who've known you for a while don't want you to participate in.

Pluto transit, hitting my anti-vertex and in conjunction with Jupiter in 2nd house. I’ve been hit with a new reality of my life. The life I knew has been shattered, unexpectedly, to a degree that it may now very well destroy my little family. I’m scared for what’s to come. I’m scared for what to expect. I feel the worst for my daughter that she’s going through such traumatic event at a young age. But she’s keeping me feel grounded, giving me a purpose, a focus.

What’s interesting is that I went through something similar, a new reality awakening last month. It was a much smaller incidence in scale but it profoundly affected me when it happened. I slowly let myself healed, but now I’m dealing this new whole level of reality which started yesterday morning. The life I knew I had is now changed completely. Our lives will never be the same. I’m preparing for the worst because anything in between is still going to be bad anyways.

This transit is strong. This transit is no joke. Please take care of yourselves. Hold your loved ones tight. Tell them you love them because you’ll never know what tomorrow brings. Embrace the moment. Be appreciative. Be compassionate.

Good luck to everyone who may be affected by this transit. We stand strong together. You’re not alone.

Interesting.I have trans Plu squaring natal Pluto. And my experience with natal Pluto in 8th is that there is an unearthing of secrets or things that are hidden.

Pluto in 8th or any planets in 8th for that matter(and I have 3 planets there) are not the type to be "shocked" easily.

They seem to be unconsciously aware of the existence of the sinister and "unbelievable" a lot, this despite them not seeing the latter in their lifetime with their own eyes.

I see this square as going further to warp my mind in ways that I didn't think things were possible to exist. This even in my wildest conspiracy theory dreams.

I don't know how that will manifest. For how can you think outside your imagination? I recall Samuel L Jackson voicing a character on Boondocks saying "There are things we know we know(Sun). Things that we dont know we know(Moon). Things that we know that we dont know(Neptune). And things that we don't know that we don't know(I take this to be Pluto).

So in my thinking, this transit is about to "ready" me for what will come when it aspects my Venus/Sat conjunction years later.

I feel you so much ❤

Pluto hit Jupiter years ago by conjunction (2005). I felt the earth beneath me move. An extraordinarily difficult time of letting go of beliefs of what I thought "divinity" was. And coming to a realization that what I was experiencing then , was a complete contradiction to what I have taught to believe.

This was tied up to my sexuality. A point of life where I felt I had to choose between the self imposed experience of "hell".The notion of a God that cared who I loved , right down to the details of their gender.

Do I abandon the existence of this fearful omnipotence I have been brainwashed to fear above all for a version that I felt deep within was all LOVE?

Was i being deceived by 'Satan'? Was this a test to get me to turn my back on the latter? Could I trust how accepted i was "as is" and let go of this emotional self mutilation because of feeling "unworthy "? It was a lot.

I questioned a lot, cried a lot, fear, loss and a plethora of other things when eventually the Sun dawned that June month 2005, and then I felt an ease to let it all go. The fears subsided and suddenly ,I was not the same anymore.

Still gay. But at peace. People have no idea how difficult it is for gay people to come to self acceptance. I wonder if they knew the hell we put oursleves through first, would they be more understanding? I think not. People like to see people in pain so that they feel better about their own pain and disconnection from themselves .

For the first time ever, I felt a deep connection with Source. Not "god"(because that already has too many social connotations and is open to so much emotional charge). But I felt Source energy in me as much deeper than the acceptance of parents, old friends and even my own.

With it came the realization that the only persecutor i had to deal with was ME. Once I woke up to that, the rest of what others had to say about me., mattered far less than what I have been saying to myself all these years. And all i will ever say to myself from then onwards.

Halleluiah🙌🏿👌🏿

My brother is going through the t.Pluto conjunct Venus right now. He's experiencing depression and I want to be there for him.

Pluto transits definitely are unforgettable. I don't even know how many times Pluto made harsh aspects to my planets. I remember when it conjunct my Mars prior to going into the 7H. Then square my Sun then my Venus.

Now my Moon. At this point, I have been beaten down and understood the assignment. Letting go of control and the coping skills for survival (I was constantly in survival mode since child) - which attract unnecessary events to my life. How to properly do innerwork and process emotions - I was approaching it at an angle that led to unresolved pain and until I "lost" everything I was attached to. YellowGerbera put it into words perfectly. Life no longer feels the same. I just look at life differently now.
I'm not sure if this may help but finding ways to regulate your nervous system may help too. I was carrying a lot stuck emotions/ trauma within my body.

I came out simply loving myself and stop self-shaming. Unmasking layer by layer, unlearning things that are not meant for me. It only made me feel more connected/compassionate. It feels beautiful. I hope who ever read this, you're not alone.

I have some Pluto transits parallels too (t.Pluto parallel my DSC/Mars).

I'm happy for you @Aries23Degrees. True self acceptance and unconditional love. It's so powerful.

@Stawr, it's probably around end of 1997.

Thanks Luna.

Yes,Plu can have a very destructive impact initially. No doubt. But then there is the rebuilding process thereafter. Most of us truly fall apart during the destruction phase. And that's really part of the grand plan of it all , to destroy this sense of security in what is either false or lacks definitive structures.

Mentally, it can be hard. All your life you've believed a cat is a cat. Safe in the crevices of your mind is the notion that you are evaluating reality as a rational person etc.

But then Pluto comes along and hits those mental points of surety, then we find that those notions were never built on solid ground anyways. It was illogical to think that what you were seeing was a cat. But you still cling to the old belief, this even as something else surfaces to show that the cat is actually a Lynx. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Pluto on Venus may destroy the definition he has of "value". The juice of life will feel like it's sucked away, as the things that used to bring him pleasure before, are no longer thrilling.

Change of hobbies or complete abandonment of them. Change of people he finds attractive or total annihilation of the prior perceived "type" , to reveal something "other" than that.

Maybe even the destruction of personal income spent on valuables &/or security. Destruction of valuables via fires/natural disasters, theft or just simply giving them away because one doesn't see them as valuable anymore.

The redefining of relationships and what the core value of them are. This is both business, personal and platonic ones. Those that do not share the core values insisted upon by the transit, are done away with or simply end.

It's a time for change for sure.🙏🏿

I am so sorry your brother is going through a hard time. You are amazing for wanting to be there for him.

Thank you! Okay that is around the age I started to not like to be in school. And my academic self esteem started to plumet. I also had a crush on a boy for 4 years. lol

Aries23, that's really accurate. I see my brother don't have the motivation he once had for baking. It was his pride and joy. Consider his Sun/Neptune with Mars in Taurus (5H).

Stawr I know that feeling too well. Didn't like school, it was a nightmare lol
and 4 years? I thought I was crazy for liking someone for 2-3 years. hahaha

Thank you so much for your comments @Aries and @Simply. ❤️ I relate to your experiences so much. Both of you have the common ending which is coming out of whatever situation stronger and happier. So that really gives me hope and assurance that I can have faith of having a better future for my family and I. 🙏 The journey has just started so the worst may be yet to come, but for now, I just take it day by day.

Thank you again for making my day. 🙏
