What happened when your ASC progressed to the next sign?
Did you feel it physically? Did you feel it at all?

My ascendant is about to move into Libra. My Mc is going into Cancer, so all angles will be Cardinal in about 1 degree's time. I have definitely felt myself wanting more balance in everything and I have become really, or more, about my appearance (is that Libra??) I am also more anti-social which I do believe can be a Libra rising trait? pVenus is in Venus 12H. IP: Logged |

Yes, I felt it. My nAC is in Virgo and moved into Libra just a few months ago. I noticed I was a lot less shy and closed-up, and became more open to others. Actually, when my pAC was still in Virgo, I didn't understand why I was so lonely and people would not respond to my smiles. The reason was that even if I thought I looked pleasant, I was cold in appearance.
So slowly I just started started smiling more, and the progression went on from there. As my nSun is already in Libra I think it wasn't very hard for me to adapt (now my pAC must be 0-1 degrees Libra).But yes, definitely felt for me.  IP: Logged |

Anti - against. Easy to remember.If you were trying to say you don't feel like socializing, and it looks like that, the term you should've used is asocial. I don't think being asocial is the trait of a Libra ASC either.

I was really young when my ASC progressed into Libra...3, I think? It's staying there until I turn 40, apparently. WeeeeeBut basically, no, I obviously didn't notice the shift. I do sometimes wonder if the early progression is why there are a lot of Virgo things that just don't really "fit" for me. ------------------

Lol, just found out my Sun progressed into Pisces when I was 4 years old. And Mars when I was 1.
I never really stopped to think about it (I was just superficially looking at my pchart), but I'm waaaaay too introvert and sensitive for someone with Sun and Mars in Aquarius.
Although it could be my natal 11H Saturn in Pisces' fault. My ASC will progress into Gemini in 2019 (I'll be 23) and I'm wondering how's it gonna be. IP: Logged |

Progressed Asc moved into Virgo
---first thing before the actual shift, was i became more aware of how my diet affected my energy level and my looks, and how much more sensitive my body was becoming to stimuli, for example my skin started to feel like it was burning in the sun after a minute, and that hadn't happened before
---along with that became gradually more aware of how my appearance, or more specifically my wild untamed look, went against how I felt on the inside, I remember that I started to feel quite grimy and that it wasn't "me" anymore..this was more apparent after the sign change
---as a result of the above I started paying more attention to my outfits and started to think of them as ensembles haha. I accessorize now, and make sure I have the right bag, the right shoes. For example I never bought proper rain boots before and looked and looked for a pair because I needed to have some that did the job but looked like riding boots. Before I never cared if my shoes got wet in the rain, I'd just wear a dry pair the next day. Now I have to always be properly attired. Before I used to work out in whatever, now I need a sports watch to match a sporty outfit, etc.
---an offshoot of the above is that I change my outfits a few times a day, depending on what I'm doing/where I'm going. Whereas before I'd do one the whole day through and who cares if it doesn't fit in cos i cant really be bothered. Goes along with being more sensitive to my body.
---regarding service people, I'm much more aware of how my treatment of them affects their treatment of me, and I've started to become a very big tipper. I don't know if this is Virgo or not but it's part of the new me
---I don't feel obligated to smile as much or be part of the excitement that's going on. I remember late in Leo I started to feel resentful when people were looking at me to make something big happen, and so dear friends, this is the reaction now. Haha! You all go make it happen cos I'm having a lovely break! Why don't you all entertain ME for a change  There's a good tip in it for you. Oh, and I'll be watching and I'm critiquing All Of It. Some of the performances are pretty lame LOL but if they're free, who am I to complain.
---another thing, delayed reactions. Or maybe no reaction at all. Much different from Leo. I just don't care as much. Otoh if its something I care about, I'm starting to see a lot more value in it. And derive a lot more from the interaction.

Moved from Capricorn into Aquarius and I think it made me better looking, no lie. I used to think I looked slightly funny and goaty but now I think my facial features have slimmed out and become more..uhhh...human looking I guess? xDI also find it easier to simply talk to people i don't want to talk to now and to socialize in a detached way more, whereas before I was just detached and reserved (still kinda am sometimes). I've definitely started to embrace the uniqueness of everyone though and have grown so much lately. I like aqua rising lol IP: Logged |
