I was wondering if there is a correlation between a youthful/younger appearance and birth chart? People don't believe me when I say that I am 30! I've always been told I look like I'm about five years younger than what I really am. Could it be the Pisces stellium in my chart?Sorry that my picture is GIANT. Ahhh! try checking your asteroid hebe - the goddess of youth. apparently if it conjuncts your sun or ascendant you'll look young for your age. my mum has it conjunct both and the woman is 63 and she's still getting 45 year old men hitting on her thinking she's in her early 40s. no jokealso capricorns have a Benjamin button thing going on, they sort of come out old and get younger in spirit through the years. so they tend to look older for their age when they're young then stop ageing at around 30 isn apparently. I do have a 2' orb trine between Sun and Hebe. Maybe that's it?

I think it has to do a lot with mercury. So I agree with that stellum in your 8th.I have mercury conjunct the ascendant but 4/5 degrees, I'm 27 and people think I'm 18 -__- last I got "what is a baby doing here working!" I think the closer or tigher merc aspect the scendant or sun the younger you look..also look for Venus in aspect to saturn when in good aspect trine/sextile theindividual willmost likely age gracefully, the term "youre like a wine that gets better with age" comes to mind lol IP: Logged |

Perhaps Mercury? I have it conjunct my Sun, Venus and Midheaven and although people can tell my real age (I'm too tall to be any younger than 18) everyone always says that I've got a mischievous kid-like energy and that I seem younger even though I don't *look* younger :>edit: Oh! One of my very good friends that I've known since we were in elementary school was always picked on. She is of Asian descent but when she was little she looked like those old Native American Chiefs in the black and white photos. No wrinkles but very warn, and weathered face. Always serious and stern. So she got picked on a lot. Then, we all grew up. She is in her mid 30's now but people think she is around early 20's. She is one of the most beautiful people I know, inside and out And quite humble about her appearance. She has no problems turning heads now as well. She definitely has that whole Benjamin Button thing going on, too. We're very similar as far as sun and moon goes but she has different aspects. Her: sun-capricorn
rising  isces
Venus and neptune in Sagittarius and they both square her ascendent

I read somewhere it says, mostly Gemini/Virgo ASC looks younger than their age. Capricorn ASC looks older when they are young but when they are old, they look younger(don't grow old as fast as others) and so with Saturn in the first house. One guy looks young in his age even he is going to be 50, many people said he doesn't change in the last few years at all. He has Saturn in 1st house, conjunct ASC. I have Virgo ASC, but I also got Saturn in 1st house, not conjunct. I will see how it will play out when I am 40 or 50 years old. But I do look older when I was a teenager, now some said I look younger. IP: Logged |

Oh I've heard of saturn hard aspects slowing down aging.. For example, saturn square Sun! @polkadot
Omg you are soooo beautiful!!! You're my twin but I am nowhere near your prettiness!!  I have a younger sister but ppl always guess I'm the younger one! She's 2.5 yrs younger and Pisces Asc. I still get ID'd at liquor stores and ppl ask me if Ima student here and there.. I think Mercury makes me very mischievous?? Lol! My stellium is in 3H so I got Gem quality I think! I dress young for my age too.. Loooove sweats and hoodies! LOLOL I wish I can go to work wearing that..

I use to believe the idea, but the more I study, the more I see otherwise. IMO it is mostly genetics and a little bit Medical astrology, for every instance of people saying certain aspects and signs make you look younger, I see the reverse. Some Gemini look young and some look old. I personally never seen the Capricorn looking young when old, but not saying it can't exist. Everyone wants to be seen as younger, it's part of modern human aesthetics. Youth is a strong driver in the World. Being called old is like a dirty word now a days. We all are getting old every day we wake up, just a matter of time until you are a old lady or old man if you get to the age. Plus age factors is subjective. Some people may look at a person and see them a certain age, while another person sees them differently.So, no I don't see a real correlation because it varies. Some people look young and some don't. You can have people born the same day and time and still age differently. Epigenetics seems more probable. Even twins don't age the same and they share a high number of genes. Lifestyle and stress factors into this as well.

I would "blame" it on Mercury conjunjunction with your ascendant ruler Sun... But I must agree with Comatoes that it may be purely genetic. I look young and I can't see anything in my chart that would indicate that.IP: Logged |

Fountain-of-youth aspect - A Magi Society discovery, this aspect is an enhancement of the Sun by Neptune; the aspect bestows youth and longevity to the native .... and lo .... you have sun sextile neptune.I don't always agree with Magi, but for this aspect I find it to be surprisingly accurate. To me, you look your age. Immediately I thought of Leo rising...I was right! Youthful appearance is indicated usually by Gemini. Capricorns look mature when they are young and look younger as they get older. Only today, a youth crept up to me from behind saying "you look too pretty to be carrying a bag (grocery shopping)"....I just looked at him and thought...geez, I'm old enough to be your MOTHER! LOL I didn't say anything and walked off. It was lunch time and he had a bottle of beer in his hand though! LOL PS - one thing for sure, the lad needs to work on his chat up line. lol Are all pretty girls get their boys to carry their bags? :O IP: Logged |
