I have actually learned to rely on myself bc of this but it gets tiring to not have almost no one in my life that i can depend on. It has also made me more pessimistic about people. What do you think that reason might be?

Depending on the planets involved. I'm not an expert but I'll speak of the ones I know. I find that moon pluto conjunct or moon pluto oppsite are much easier to integrate. On the other hand, sun pluto square I find is more dynamic than the conjunct because sun and pluto are both masculine and willful while the moon is very vulnerable.
Of course that's just my experiences, which are under my subjective preferences.

One friend ofine has earth grand trine and he forgets he can be practical with his finance.

House placenents are indicative too. People with lots of opposition can swing from one way to another, kinda like a libra doing the balancing act. Except they might not intellectually reach a point.

A person with lots of squares show more visible tensions. The opposition can indicate inaction.

I don't have any opposition except pluto Opp my Asc so I cant say much. But you can search specific aspects on astrotheme and see how these celebrities are similar.

Conversely, squares tend to be more internal - you feel a conflict within yourself that limits the free flow of energy of said planets in certain areas (as shown by the houses and the houses the planets rule).
