Venus Retrograde 2007
Went retrograde in Virgo on July 27th, 2007
Venus went direct in Leo on September 8th, 2007 Now for this current rx period...
Venus will retrograde on July 25th 2015 (in Virgo!)
and will station direct on September 6th, 2015 in Leo... --- Personally, I have to laugh at how horrific this is based on my own personal history with Venus RX!! That year it went retrograde in 2007 I dated the first person I ever fell in love with and the fallout afterwards was the most traumatic sh**storm of my life. I think I still have PTSD if I really allow myself to focus on that time too long (lol...) I've been with many people since then and I'm currently with someone I'm super in love with but I must admit, I have been thinking of that particular guy from 2007 quite a bit lately. Prompted by no absolute reason. At this point I hate his guts and can only ever imagine myself spitting in his face if I ever saw him again, but I've been wondering... why these memories out of nowhere as of late? It's like the universe keeps whispering his name to me deep in my subconscious. Then I got prompted to check out this Venus retro.... oh boy. Excuse me while I build a bomb shelter and emerge from it in mid-September. Anyone else getting some weird 2007 vibes right now? IP: Logged |

I'm not, not yet, but that was an interesting time for me.My father had died in January of that year, and it took a few months for it to sink it. By June, I was upset, and by July, I was morose. I actually remember the full moon in late August as my turning point. I suppose that was a Pisces full moon ~ my natal moon is in Pisces so this would be significant. By the time Venus went direct again, I had worked everything out and recovered enough to proceed again with life. But I never knew, until you just pointed it out, what Venus had been doing at the time. So thanks  Now I can say, it was a horrible but ultimately helpful and literal twisting around. IP: Logged |

Ah I'm sorry to hear you went through that Faith  My father died last August so I can truly empathize, the process of grief is a really baffling thing. What people don't tell you is that the phases of grief are not chronological -- a particular stage doesn't disappear the second you move onto the next one, and in fact it just becomes this neverending, looping, dizzing battle between trying to keep up with life (because life never stops, (un)fortunately) and trying to accomodate the erupted atom bomb inside us. An awful time by all accounts. Now with the Venus RX coming up I'll get to see where else this loony rollercoaster will take me  I love that you're a Pisces moon btw, my current bf has that moon and it's so fluffy with softness and gentle-hearted psychic ability, the moon truly shines there imo! I wonder if the similar dates and signs sort of "sets the stage" for the same people/scenario to play out. A girl I briefly dated summer of 2007 contacted me recently. From what I've heard, Venus retro is good for old flames, just not new ones. IP: Logged |

During the summer of 2007 a very significant relationship started for me. I was head over heels for and best friends with this person for quite a few years. In 2006 we lost contact but ran back into each other in June of 2007. Our relationship began on July 1st of 2007. During our loss of contact we did search for one another but had no luck. Even if we hadn't run into each other at the place I worked at we would have soon after because it turned out he had moved into an apartment just one block away from where I was to be moving to shorty after. I don't think this summer feels the same as that, at least not yet anyways. IP: Logged |

That's so crazy! Last night my ex whom I was with in 2007 popped into my head out of nowhere. I haven't thought about him for years until then. I thought it was strange but after seeing this it makes since now lol. All I can say is, thank goodness I am single this time around. In 2007 that same ex, whom was my first real boyfriend left me for another girl. The breakup was a DISASTER! I eventually forgave him when he apologised years later but there is still bad blood. I never have good luck with Venus RX when I am in a relationship. I can always count on a breakup.IP: Logged |

No, not at all. It reminds me of summer 2013 to be honest ... Maybe that's because Saturn is back into Scorpio and I am dealing with some heart matters I didn't deal with back then. I started thinking of certain events that happened in my love life back in 2013 and it most definitely feels like summer 2013. IP: Logged |

Hmm I too was dating my first boyfriend but we actually started dating that month or june. All I can remember was the intense puppy love but nothing bad about the retrograde. In September I moved an hour away to the city but we called all the time and visited every two weeks. Its in my 4th but I honestly don't remember too much outside the relationship.This time around I can see it going either way. An end to the 3 month relationship or more commitment and honesty. We experienced our first weird moment last night but it was needed and opened up a line of communication. I also started feeling the sadness from my last relationship. Took a while to hit since I was the one to end it but I'm finally starting to process the feelings. The realization that you need to let go but also miss the good parts of the relationship...the good things you got comfortable with. Lots of inner reflection. IP: Logged |

No it doesn't feel the same.Back in 2007, Saturn was in Leo, and Venus had to go back and forth in a conjunction with Saturn 3 times, which was no picnic for fun loving Venus. This time, Jupiter is in Leo, which is much more fun, even though Venus will have to square path with Saturn a couple of times. IP: Logged |

So many more 2007 themes popped up for me already this week! Anyone else or is this just an anomaly? Apparently Venus always goes retro in Leo every 8 years so one can also equate this to summer of 1999 if they were a teen/adult then IP: Logged |

Wow! In Autumn 1999 I started secondary school & moved new city. In autumn 2007 I started my studies in university of applied sciences and moved new city. And now i'm starting my master studies and moving to the new city  coincidence or not  ? I have Venus rx in my natal chart at the 11th House. So this is also Venus return to me. IP: Logged |

This is so crazy. I was also in my first relationship in 2007 and we broke up right after the summer. It was very traumatic for me too because he was the one who broke up with me. I was single for 5 years after that, I went out with different men but no serious relationship because i was afraid they were all going to break up with me lol IP: Logged |

Oh my God I was single for exactly five years after that too! How nuts is that? I always equate 2007 as the worst summer of my life lmaoooo so I'm way more paranoid about this retrograde than I would usually care to be IP: Logged |

No. I was a lot happier in 2007, at least until the end of the year. Although, I was getting to know someone that I thought would be great, and instead, that was incredibly traumatic for me, too. It started the domino effect of everything falling, or seeming to. IP: Logged |
