Lately however, maybe since around June I've been heart-achy lonely. As in for literally the first time in my life, I can understand why people date people they're not fully into just in order to be with somebody. I have NEVER been that person before, it's overwhelming and I feel like I've somehow lost my ability to stand strong on my own two feet 100% of the time. It's so strange and it freaks me out. Any thoughts?

You also have a late degree Virgo moon... my Virgo ASC is at 28 degrees and the North Node is backing into our sign soon. I've been feeling extremely on edge ever since the NN has been at 10 degrees libra. Like my entire soul is vibrating with the zeitgeists frequency.

my friend is 29* leo moon conjunct SN, Leo juno too. But he's thinking of breaking up with his gf at the moment though its hard for him to do so - he has chiron parallel mars and has issues with assertiveness.

You know, I was thinking of saturn when I posted this, but I wasn't sure whether it was just because it was the only concrete transit I could remember that moment or not.
On edge is a good way to describe it, where normally when I'd be with all my friends, I'd be thinking about how much I loved all of them, and now I'm still thinking about how I love all of them, but also how they all have somebody they love and have somebody to lean on, etc.

Since Mercury rules the 7th and 3rd, it suggests that a lot of what you talk about has to do with relationships(7th) as well as everyday minutia(3rd)

If there is anything that bothers you(12th),it is likely to come from these areas of life(3rd and 7th).

You are the type of person to offer a majority of your thoughts,to these areas of your life.

Now with Saturn on Mercury,Saturn removes the novelty and fun of all of that and puts in a strong "realistic" bent,

Now you may find that suddenly,these two areas of life that occupied you-are so boring(Saturn).Or not fun at all.

Maybe there is less joy in the relationship that you are in? Or less time spent thinking about it?

The daily minutia that used to be the "spice" of your thoughts,may also start to look very..ehm.. "irrelevant" and tedious.

This can definitely take the buzz off life: Because if you can't think or occupy your mind with the things that you used to,what else is going to grab your interest?

In factm right now there is very little that grabs your interest generally. You may even watch less TV if there is no "point" to it all.

The good news is:it's only temporary

The not so great news (or may be not),is that you may lean towards more "serious" endeavors.

Your mind will be more focused into problem solving. Or putting action plans to address whatever bothers you(12th).

This is great because with Saturn closing in on the 9th (sometime this year), your mind will be ripe for studying something.

Belage is right to point out Saturn. Not only is it trine your natal Venus now, but it is sextile your Moon and square your natal Mercury. Often the hard transits of Saturn to natal Mercury are times in which we must get to ourselves and take inventory of our lives, often resulting in saying goodbye to something or someone that has outlived its welcome.

This may mean some hard decisions, but ones that are worth making in the long run. However, it may simply be that clear thought and effective study and work are higher priorities for you now than your social life. If you invest your time and energy this way, you may find that better social contacts come along in time.
