I want to write a lot of things that nobody has really done before.

I have:

-Mercury conjunct Venus in Gemini in the 9th ( Venus is my chart ruler)
-Sun in Cancer in the 9th house conjunct 10th house cusp
-Gemini rules my 9th house...So the ruler of my 9th house is in the 9th house. I read this is very powerful?

-Saturn conjunct Uranus in Sagittarius in the 3rd house
-Moon conjunct Neptune in Capricorn in the 3rd house, conjunct 4th house cusp.

All of my planets expect Pluto, Jupiter, and Mars fall into the 3rd or 9th house.

I already started writing two books and a screen play.. It makes me wonder if getting recognition is what my Saturn return will bring. That happens in 2017.

Just off the top of my head, that Mercury conjunct Venus in Gemini is probably a big help
You would be a natural with words, with Gemini's ruler Mercury being in it's own sign. And with Venus there, you can bring a lot of beauty to your words.

There are a lot of birth chart factors that can signal potential writing skill. Mercury factors, of course, but also Neptune and Jupiter.

But birth chart aspects do not make anyone a good writer. Practicing does. And practicing more. Develop your skill. Know what allows you to maintain your creative zone and live in it.

My favourite journalist and author are both Geminis, but I guess that's subjective.

It's important to know what kind of writing we're talking about. If you hope to teach something through your story Sag and Jupiter would help, if you want to write a fantasy romance Pisces Venus/Venus-Neptune would be a very useful asset, if it's science fiction you better have Aquarius/Sag/Uranus contacts, etc.

Gemini/Virgo/Leo seems to be present.

Mercury/Neptune/Venus/Moon

It's a good thing if mercury is linked with sun/jupiter also, for an example if venus touches jupiter/sun/moon and it also touches mercury... it makes you in great contact with your feelings, and at the same time you have a thing for the written word as well... so it makes you able to write about stuff that is very relatable for people. And jupiter expands everything it touches.

3rd house placement is good as well (house of communication)

I see leo in a lot of the most famous writers chart as well... j-k. rowling, hemmingway for an example. Leo is like "fame" you know... so having leo influence is never a bad idea if you want to be famous:P

Sounds cool.

I think your 9th house placements and your Moon-Neptune in the 3rd will definitely help Good luck!

Is your 8th house cusp in Taurus?

The occult house linked to the house of higher knowledge pursuit, great. Does Pluto aspect your angles or personal planets? Any connection to the 3rd house?

I've been told I have a way with words. I have some Mercury Trines, but I've always attributed it to Jupiter in Gemini.

positive 9th house placements (as you have) might help with getting published, too.

Jupiter in Gemini does sound positive for that. My Draconic Jupiter is in Gemini.

I am hoping I can make money off of my writing with Venus in the ninth.
