Does anyone know how this transit could possibly manifest? Saturn transiting my 4th house will hit 3 times, by square, my Ascendant in Virgo. When Saturn was squaring my ASC from the 10th house, all my relationships were tested because I started my studies in another city. Those friendships that suffered at that time were not really worth preserving and died anyway sooner or later. The 4th house is generally associated with family, roots, home. Does it mean that challenges I might encounter in these areas will affect my relationships with others? What were your experiences with this transit?

Are you strongly Saturnian? I believe Saturn may behave differently for people with strong Saturn in their charts, especially Saturn connected to the relationship part of your chart.------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... AstroMandala Summer Readings IP: Logged |

Well, my Saturn is in Libra, in the 2nd house. It conjunct Pluto as well as the ruler of my chart, Mercury. Capricorn is on the cusp of 5th house. It’s true that so far I had rather good experiences with most Saturn transits, even with some challenging ones, like Saturn square MC, or conjunct Sun… But Saturn conjunct Jupiter and square Venus were pretty difficult, so it’s not always pleasant. going through this now....and have been for a while, with saturn going back and forth. It might be a little "worse" for me, as saturn is parked on my IC and i have the moon AND Uranus there. All I can say is that i feel like I am going through a rebirth , its painful but needs to happen. I was reading some of my old journal entries and believe it or not I am a different person, even from 2 years ago. Good luck...I think with the 1st/4th ( ic-asc) square, you just restructure your inner being to fit your outer being and vice/versa. That is how its manifesting for me ,at least. IP: Logged |

Thanks a lot Tbelle for sharing your experiences with this transit! I liked what you wrote about the possibility of inner restructuring, which will manifest on the outside…very true. Transits to the 4th house can have very profound effects on one’s inner self, the personality might change to the core. Tr. Pluto is now leaving my 4th house and the inner transformation I went through was very radical. But it also affected my dwelling place as I have always been on the move for the last several years and I still can’t tell what my true home is. I keep thinking that transiting Saturn in the 4th house might make one more reflective about the roots, one’s own place, home etc., and might force some radical decisions in these areas… I will be living abroad when the transits begins. Not sure where I will end up.
