True. I agree this happened. That includes the attributions of Uranus to/in the USA chart that were solidified among American astrologers well prior to 1930. Perfectly understandable. Not so understandable with many astrologers clinging to those old attributions long after the meaning and contribution of Pluto has been well established.

There are some good western astrologers like Evangeline Adams and many others whose work was still significant and worth learning from even though they were not working with Pluto. If you study these authors/courses, just make note of where Pluto is lacking and add it in. It will change some things significantly, but not everything or even most things.

1. See it as many of you are seeing it and believing the force comes from the heavenly bodies themselves. No, it's not discredited, just incomplete...just as it remains incomplete (and thus arguably discredited) to this very day for there will always be new discoveries (at least through this century and probably next, and then I bet astrology expands to a lot more beyond it).

2. Continue to see it as I do which is the heavenly bodies are just the mirrors of our own collective psychic energy, in which case Pluto did not affect us until it had been named (so before it was discovered it would not have affected you).

That is, had Pluto instead been named Minerva then the psychic energy/collective unconsciousness of our species would've imbued that planet (or whatever you want to call it) with completely different energy that would "reflect back" (actually, I don't think our energy reaches Pluto at all and see it completely within the Gaiasphere, though it does match up) a completely different energy so that Minerva would instead show when we would be "reborn" from our struggles throughout life and what we'd easily learn and what would be very difficult for us to learn because we would project the essence of Minerva at it rather than the essence of Pluto (this takes a lot of people, a society, to make it happen).
