You're right, because in the past month I've let go of a lot of peoole I realized I was in a codependent friendship with. I feel SO much better! In addition my views and feelings on my friends now are also changing. However I feel like my anxiety and mental health / physical health issues are becoming evrr more so prominent. Ugh.

So: for those of you who don't know me. How is everyone else doing, preparing for the TOTAL lunar eclipse hitting us on Sept. 27/28? I'm pumped! This is a phenomenal, rare event...lunar eclipses are all about doorways to new opportunities and being forced to see what doesn't work in our lives and how to get rid of it. It's an emotional, challenging and cathartic time for everyone. ARIES and LIBRA will feel it the most as the eclipse falls in Aries this time, a blood moon too!

How do you anticipate the eclipse will change your perceptions of reality? Have you noticed any shifts in energy as we get closer to the eclipse?

Typically, if the eclipse hits your Sun or Moon, you'll feel it the MOST immediately and its effects can last for months after. In fact it can influence the entire upcoming year until the next lunar eclipse. I don't know much about eclipses on Chiron, to be honest...but maybe if the trine is exact or close to it, the Aries super moon will illuminate how you can empower yourself through healing your own hurts or learning how to fully move on from something in your past... Just a thought.

Good for you for moving on and being firm in your intentions. In fact, this supermoon/lunar eclipse in Aries is going to help certain signs really take actions to set new goals and be more direct about getting what they want than ever before. I'm sorry you're struggling with some of those issues you've mentioned. I would suggest using a diary or a journal to release some of the pain...it's the first instinct that came to mind to suggest that. The eclipse is falling in my 4th house, opposite my Sun in the tenth, the orb is 6 degrees [thankfully since an exact aspect would be overwhelming]. I think it's just falling outside the range of my birthday, but I imagine it's going to strongly affect me anyway. I've certainly felt the effects of the new moon/solar eclipse, it made me have a lot of pain as issues from my past resurfaced, it made a 1 degree conjunction with my Moon and Chiron. It's been healing but very painful, as Chiron-issues go, you can imagine the process has been bittersweet. To be honest, with the eclipse being solar [relating to issues with men] I got in a HUGE fight with my guy tonight... the worst we've ever had...and yes, I'm disappointed that I gave into some of the eclipse's supercharged energy, however I feel it goes with the entire theme of how it's touched my chart since the fight NEEDED to happen. A lot of stuff has been teeming beneath the surface and it all finally came to a head tonight. So it hurt, but it needed to all be said....I just don't know what's going to happen, but by the lunar eclipse I think I'll have answers.

The eclipse will fall in my 8th and opposite mars and pluto, square jupiter and trine neptune and my ic. I'm not sure what that all means but it doesn't sound very positive although a trine is more gentle yes? I'm also a 3rd oct libra and have been chatting to an aries guy recently about meeting up, he works abroad so its already a questionable situation..is it all likely to fall on its face? Should I prepare myself for disappointment? He's the first decent guy in years..how depressing

Hmm...well, based off what you said, maybe this eclipse is going to focus on the emotional demands of others competing with your own interests, especially your resources (either financial or metaphysical). It could signify that it's time to break free and be more independent on an emotional level...it could even signify an emotionally imbalanced or co-dependent connection of some kind that needs to come to an end.

I'm not sure if the Aries dude you're meeting has anything to do with this particular eclipse transit. But I'll give you my fair warning... relationships that are long distance and across seas can end up being VERY very complicated, so before you get emotionally invested, I recommend taking it slow. I know this from experience.

Thank you for the article. Good read. I know an old relationship resurfaced last Mercury Rx, and we did resolve things, but it was somewhat short lived. Thanks for the distinction.
