If an Aries person doesn't want to spend all their time with you... it's not because "they are not that into you"...
It's because they have a life.

It's not about you.
It's about them!

There is a myth floating around that when you truly love someone... you *like* being smothered by them and actively want them to be all over you.
While this myth may well apply to some folk... (e.g. Cancer, Taurus, Libra people...) - It absolutely does not apply to Aries!

An Aries person will never in a million years WANT to be smothered.

It doesn't really matter how into you they are.
They could be so into you.. and so in love that they go weak at the knees and their heart explodes in a colourful array of rainbows and fluffy bunnies - every time you lock eyes.....

And they STILL will not want to be smothered... or be joint at the hip... or spend -all- of their time with you - or talk to you all the time... or want you to come over whenever they are alone... or want you in their space, touching them, hugging them, kissing them - whenever you happen to be close-by.

You have two options.... You can learn to like this about Aries... or you can... LEAVE and find yourself a Cancer.

Ever since my first date with my boyfriend, we have never spent a day apart. Sure, there were some days when we could only see each other for 5 minutes, but a *day* hasn't gone by since that date. And we're coming up on four years together!

What baffles me is that he truly isn't sick of me. I almost can't believe it when I really allow myself to think of this objectively, especially considering his chart. This is a dude with a natal Venus/Uranus conjunction and his Sun/Mercury/Mars/Neptune in Sagittarius conjunct in the 5th! So a major Sagittarius stellium in a Leo house.

Why is Aries different in this regard?

That is indeed an interesting question... and one that I've deeply pondered.

WHY is it that Sagittarius is not more space-loving... like Aries? I would also love to have an answer to that.

I would love for God.. or the Universe.. or an astrologer... or a psychic.. or *anyone* out there... to tell me WHY.

Now that you mention it -- my Aries friend (with lots of Gemini!) is not very space-loving either.

Neither are two other guys I know.

But, my friend's boyfriend - Aries with Cap moon, Aries Venus, Taurus mars - is extremely space-loving.

Maybe it's the combination of the independence of the Aries with the pragmatism of the Cap moon..? Earth moons don't see emotional 'triggers' in the same way. They're stable in their love, to some extent immune to stimuli that would see-saw another soul.

When Aries is happy in a relationship they will give you space and expect it in return.
They will also trust you and expect that in return.
Don't question their integrity and jealousy is a big turnoff.

Aries and Sag don't really "serious" argue that much because when Sag starts losing, they resort to humor and that soon makes the Aries laugh.

Saggies will eventually feel that smother as well.

I need my space, and prefer to do some things alone, but I love to go out with others. Mum and I (she's a sadge) can get into really heated debates over politics, and I will be the one to say we need a break (although the last time, when I really blew up over something, she suggested it, LOL). But we can also be really silly, as someone already mentioned. I love that.

Scorpios should be added in this too. I have noticed this sign esp in venus likes people to give them full focus and smothering. Libra`s likes to hang out with people and might be clingy themselves but we aren't really into clinginess and being smothered. The behaviour you described of aries people i have mostly seen from aries venus and sometimes moons. A friend of mine is dating an aries venus guy and its been a few times he has thrown her out of his apartment bc he got other plans.

Interesting, thanks for elaborating. The "clingyness" makes them feel safe and in control.

I do feel scorpios need their alone time though even though they like clingy behavior and would put up with it if it gets out of control bc it makes them feel safe, in control and feeds their ego but still they will make sure they get their alone time although their need for alone time will be a lot less than perhaps a moon conjunct mars in aries.

My husband and I spent all our free time together but when we are together a good portion of the time I am alone doing my own thing and so is he. I need a lot of alone time at home to recharge, dedicate to my hobbies and for self reflection perhaps my moon in pisces ruling the 8th conjunct IC with sag rising and jupiter-uranus in the 12th is why. Yesterday he was complaining a little about this actually, he wanted me to give him attention and talk about his interests. You can be next to someone a lot and not be spending time with them fully. He is independent but has a clingy side perhaps I do too but he is more clingy; he has libra sun, moon in cancer, leo venus and mars in scorpio. I have virgo sun, moon in pisces, venus and mars in Leo.
