Elysia unregistered	posted March 05, 2016 12:16 PM Hi folks! I was wondering mainly about your Sun sign decans, but any other personal planet decans are also welcome ! The examples in my life (some of which are listed below), seem to fit. Close friend #1: First decan Virgo. Very methodical. Loyal, trustworthy, great employee and co-worker. Close friend #2: 2nd decan Libra. They say it's Saturn/Uranus ruled. She seemed way more Uranus-ruled - unpredictable for sure. My ex: Second decan Scorpio - you could definitely tell the Neptunian influence. Very vivid dreams, artistic, a streak of self-sacrifice. Current (sorta) Scorp: First decan. INTENSE!! What are your experiences with your own/friends/family's sign decans? IP: Logged

WIP. @Nyctea - It just means you take the same decans for each sign and apply to your other personal planets the way you would for your sun. For instance, a 14� Virgo moon would be a second decan Virgo moon. @ES & Ursus, thanks for sharing! Ursus, in which way particularly do you relate to the descriptions...? IP: Logged

Well if Cap and Pisces are supposedly mature signs, and Taurus and Cancer are less mature...then yes, I definitely identify more with those less mature signs. IP: Logged

Yeah some articles describe my cap-mode when it's activated pretty well (except for the one article which suggests that kneecap is the erogenous zone lol nope). The lovely creature that plagues my life is a second decan libra. Venus-uranus rule. From my pov, I think it fits his character. Generous n thoughtful. Knows when to pull me closer and when to let me loose. I'll be like "Hey sweet, I need to go do this thing (fill in the blank), I'll come back in a few months". And he'll be wishing me good luck n stuff. Seldom questions my decisions. My two other 1st decan libra friends: Venus-venus ruled. Their personalities are vastly different, but yeah I see a few similar venus traits - ove for luxury, keen eye for colours and fashion. They dislike tension in relationship/friendship, hence tend to tolerate/smooth things over and easily let bygones be bygones. When they were younger (I've know them for a long time, one pushing 19 years and the other over 10 years), those traits sometimes rendered them quite vulnerable, but now they're not like that anymore. 2sc decan taurus friend: Venus-mercury ruled. Relaxed, easygoing. Academically brilliant. I've never heard her cursed. Legend has it that when we we were in high school, she once nearly cursed at a boy who messed up her hair. But the whole event was surrounded by mysteries, no one can be sure of what happened. 2sc decan virgo friend: Mercury-saturn ruled. Pretty much the description fits him. He goofs around some, but overall is a somber, and very principled person. 1st decan aries friend: Mars-mars ruled. Yep. 2sc decan aries friend: Mars-sun ruled. He has a presence, but it's solid and grounded, not the dazzling, charming, competitive energy that the articles suggest. 2sc decan gemini friend: Heh I wonder why I don't often mention her, despite being friends for over 10 years and sharing quite a lot of stuff. Anyway, mercury-venus ruled. I see more venus than mercury in her. But well she has libra moon and mercury/venus in taurus, so... Nice and very mellow, really likes affection and sweet words/gestures - if she's upset about s.t, attention and affection will sort her mood out in no time. IP: Logged

My Moon is in the Taurus decan but I seem to always fall back on my Taurus SN, Jupiter so...Moon is also sq Pluto. IP: Logged

Elysia unregistered	posted March 06, 2016 01:50 PM @Lerena, I don't think it's necessarily about traits. It's like a subtle minor flavour modifying the major flavour of your Sun's ruler. For instance, in the case of Taurus, Mercury decan. The Taurean feel for aesthetic will probably be enhanced by Mercury's fine-tuned senses. There may be a greater flexibility than other decan Taureans, or more cynicism as well(?). IP: Logged

The AC in Sag is at the decan of Mars. My Venus and Mars in Leo are at the decan of Mars. My moon in Pisces is at the decan of Pluto conjunct IC and rules my 8th and it's at the duad of Scorpio. Mercury in Virgo at the decan of Saturn. Jupiter and Uranus in sag at the decan of Jupiter. Saturn in the decan of Pluto Northnode in the decan of Mars Interesting... IP: Logged

Is it a vibe you got and thought Libra? or was it a behavior that gave it away? I do tend to became close to people with venusian placements. I thought it was bc venus rules my 11th but I think perhaps my Sun in the decan of Venus has more to do with it. IP: Logged

Yeah I thought she had cancer placements, and was a bit surprised to see that she only has jupiter in cancer. But then when I thought about it, venus influence could be the reason she's the way she is. Hypatia: I always thought that you were a sag, I was like "Oh wow" when I learned that you are a virgo.
