Does this placement mean Assertiveness/aggression, especially with females?

I have this placement, but i'm shy in the way i communicate, but deep down there's a highly sexual/intense/aggressive/assertive/confident person inside, that's locked away like jail.

help.

what aspect would bring this?

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

MARS= ENERGY
Capricorn is signified/ruled by Saturn.
Saturns' aspect to MARS is more important, as well as other aspects to MARS than the sign it is in, but generally MARS IN
Capricorn SIGNIFIES being hard at work on something because Saturn energy will resist Mars/ or temper the rashness of MARS

what aspect would bring this?
\ Saturn
aspects to the moon /Venus and Mercury
a chart must be viewed to see a picture that tells the story

It makes perfect sense to me that your Mars is in the 8th house.

Mars in the 8th house is quite similar to Mars in Scorpio (the 8th house and the sign of Scorpio represent the same archetype). Mars in Capricorn itself can make you assertive (Capricorn is a Cardinal sign, plus Mars is exalted in Capricorn), but in my opinion it's totally your Mars in the 8th house energy that shines through your words: "deep down there's a highly sexual/intense/aggressive/assertive/confident person inside, that's locked away like jail."

Yup. It's Mars in the 8th House that gives the sexual energy that is waiting to come out. Venus in your 8th also gives extra sexual energy.

It's common for 8th house Mars to abstain for a long time, no matter how much "in heat" they are in. I have it and for a guy lost my v-card at 19 and went a period of no sex for 2 yrs from 23-25.

Problem is, each time that person comes out in me, there's this feeling that come over me that hold me back and be in "control". If i get too "wild" so to say, then there's something that "kicks" me or "reminds" me and i end up being reserved again, fear of losing control/what people think of me etc..

Then that person get's locked away in his cell again. My ruling planet is Jupiter with Saturn in 2nd place with less than 5 degrees under, then the sun in 3rd. Don't know if you wanted than info, just thought i'd throw that in there.

It's like this, whenever that person comes out, there's something to pull me back, it's either myself, or someone shi**ing on my parade. I'm a sensitive person so.. And I'm not one to say my mind, so when that happens, i just let it seethe in, that bring me to depression/shy/timid/soft spoken/quiet/laid-back/passive guy. basically opposite of who i really am inside.

@Gemini30 -- What's the lesson with the Mars in 8th/abstinence thing? If there's one?

I've known several Mars in Capricorn . I myself am one.

Wherever you see Capricorn, you see an energy that requires time to ripe, that the native must learn to be "dignified" with that energy. There're no shortcuts, just long, hard lessons. The type of strength that's honed over the years and finally reach a permanent maturity. The native must learn how to direct one's anger, aggression and drive into proper outlets. You don't see Mars in Capricorn air their dirty laundry, you don't see them have immediate success at a young age or have several ups and downs in their career either.

I was thinking about the 3 female judges on the Voice - Xtina, Gwen Stefani, and Shakira all have this Mars position. Xtina, despite being incredibly talented didn't have the success of Britney Spears... And definitely didn't have head-shaving moments either. Gwen and Shakira had done shaky starts but ended having a career that lasts. They all see the point in investing in someone who's not "there" yet through proper training
Brad Pitt is another famous Mars in Capricorn. They are never particularly impressive or in your face. They aren't motivated to win. They attempt to do things that are socially proper. Saturn being a generational planet shows them how to cope with *external circumstances. Can they last after Saturn transit through 12 signs? With Saturn lasting 2.5 years in a sign, by the time it went through 12 signs or when a Cap mars ripes

The reputation of Capricorn Mars being subdued is because Mars is hardly at home here. As I said, they are not out to win. They are out to do something that's worth doing. There's a subdued grandiose vision with Capricorn Mars and many natives with this position, when incapable of achieving their grand dreams (again, Saturn ruling the 10th), flounder helplessly through life.

Here you see Chelsea Handler getting drunk, being charged with DUI, went to jail only to discover her talent at making people laugh. Here's something worth doing. Here's finding strength through humbling events. And in 7 years, she made her fortune in Hollywood. And you might not like her, I know. But this is how this energy manifests itself. This Mars is not like Aries or Scorpio, they win by showing you that you're the fool who messed with them, because karma is on their side and they are vindicated through their public recognition/success. This Mars doesn't revenge. If provoked badly, they will be very systematic and exacting but hardly anywhere close to a Scorpio Mars.

Anyone attacked by an evolved cap Mars probably deserves 10 times more than what they receive from the cap Mars. But this Mars will act to create a permanent resolution.

This youtuber, Jake astrology, created a poll on how ppl feel about Mars signs. Ppl seem to see Capricorn mars as being very powerful but they all seem to be terrified by cancer Mars and Scorpio Mars. And ppl also seem to feel "meh" about having a Cap Mars on their team if they're in a physical fight.

Speaking of physical fights, you don't see this placement prominent in athlete either

@Theunknown -- that's a very informative piece of art you wrote.

No Immediate success at a young age? That bothers me, haha. I'm sure that doesn't apply to everyone with this placement, right?

The fighting part, yeah that's me when i'm in a good mood. If i'm ****** of already, watch out. If i'm in a good mood, then you gotta physically touch me/someone i care about for me to dive in n be prepared to die. I don't talk, silently waitin for you to do somethin physical. Am not a fighter by heart tho.

So how long before the native reach full "maturity"? 25? 30 years old? or it depends on the individ?

I'm def not athletic lol. i'm more on the bodyguard side. (taurus asc) and another placement there in my chart that indicates eating alot. that's true, i'm addicted to food. I eat more when i'm bored/stressed/worried.

i'm on a diet now, which i was suppose to start new years and look at the date now, lol. that's says alot. so wish me luck.

sorry 4 the rambling.

Well I was just generalizing. Ppl like to walk around and say Capricorn Mars is exalted. And you do see ppl with this position rise steadily. Meghan Trainor is a success, but my guess is she wants much more and does not see her success as permanent yet.

John Legend is another Capricorn Mars who seems to just aces. *shrug*. I just generally see the patterns of us commoners are that we take a while to come to a point where we are satisfied. So we keep going and going and going .... Like the reputation of cap Mars being high on endurance.

I also found lots of Capricorn Mars that never ripe, ... Like Lindsey Lohan ... Well you learn astrology so I hope you know your karmic lessons

hm... you see, you have to learn to own up to your own beast. That beast only listens to you. You can't ask what is expected of you or what is the social convention or the rules ... You make your own rules, disciplines, strategies, systems.

And over the year, you will realize you are stronger than you thought and that you dont waiting on someone's approval for you to act.

I really admire Capricorn Mars women, envy in fact.

Yes, I think they are assertive in a steadfast and silent way. Not loud and aggressive though.

I've noticed that many prominent pop stars have this placement and you have to be a warrior to make it in the music industry especially as a woman.

In personal experience I can again vouch for assertiveness, you can't boss a Cap Mars around (it even angers me sometimes, haha). A lot of the Cap Mars' I know are also millennials with the Uranus/Neptune conjunction which makes them rebels on top of their stubbornness and they can get pretty wild.

It depends I know somebody w/ this but conjunct her Saturn and she's not really assertive at all. I feel that she has the potential to be though. Her Mars conjunct Saturn is in the 12H too.

IMO - Cap Mars is somewhat misunderstood. Our sexuality, our drive and our anger have 'layers' to it. We are neither simple, nor complicated folk. We are beautifully CENTERED.

We are very sexual people. But we have great control over ourselves - and sometimes over others. We have standards. We don't do games. We are grown a** men & women. Come correct...or we'll lose interest in you quickly! Our deep sexual intensity only comes out with the RIGHT PARTNERS. We're only boring if we are totally uninspired and uninterested in you -- it takes a quality individual to really get us going.

We are assertive, absolutely. Aggressive? Eh, not usually.

And when angry, we typically know how to make people feel stupid without even screaming at them. We're great at making a fool feel utterly irrelevant. We have a reserved energy, but an energy that is not to be f*cked with...

This +100

This is it.

I been saying this all along.

But i tend to let shyness overcome me.

If this isn't an "aggressive" aspect. Where in my chart is it?

Maybe it's right infront of me? (Sun sign) hehe...

I'm so glad that my Cap-Mars siblings are in agreement with me.

Sun Sign is definitely a huge factor in how assertive we are or aren't. It's not just the Mars, IMO.

Unknown - cool how you took the time to share your thoughts about the ladies of The Voice! Interesting stuff.

Deptic,

Mars at 4 degrees Cap, it rules your 9H and co-rules your 8H. In exaltation and in early degrees - that's already very good. 8H for Mars is not the best, just like any other water house. What aspects does it make if any??
