It's a good question. I often notice I intimidate people. I don't want to, but for some weird reason I do: maybe the weird reason is the Moon opposite Pluto giving off some 'don't you dare' or 'I'm so strong' vibes (but not in the forcing way)?!IP: Logged |

I'm not a female but I have an 8th house Moon opposite Pluto exact. Often people don't screw with me and if they do, they are in for some serious pain. Otherwise, I might intimidate them, not really sure. ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. 5H Moon sq 2H Pluto here. And Pluto square Sun as well. I am an Alpha female. And I intimidate people that have a hard time with that energy. I mostly function best around non-frail people, Aries energy and/or someone that is really blunt and skips all the crappy BS.

I also have Sun square Pluto and Moon square Pluto in my natal. So these are traits of an Alpha female? quote: Originally posted by charlie: 5H Moon sq 2H Pluto here. And Pluto square Sun as well. I'm not saying they are traits. I just stated what aspects I have and how I am as a person. There may be other aspects in my chart that make me this way such as having Mars conj Ascendant. I can be really aggressive and not particularly "soft" which might be a trait otherwise associated with being a female. I LOOK feminine but can act manly.

It does make someone emotionally resilient and since women are said to be governed by our emotions, I believe this description fits the bill. I don't have moon square Pluto natally. I have a weak semi-sextile along with a Scorpio stellium. I am also experiencing the beginning stages of Transit Pluto square Moon and although right now I feel like dying, I know I'm going to come out of this transit strong and hardened. I can feel it. It's a growth aspect of you can learn to accept the trauma that gets you there. IP: Logged |

I don't think so. It wouldn't PRECLUDE being an alpha female, but wouldn't necessarily contribute to it a lot. Depending on the sign and house placements and chart overall, it could lead the person to be powerfully introspective (and maybe obsessive in a private, introspective way), so the "power" and intensity Pluto brings to the emotions wouldn't play out socially at all, more privately or mystically. I have the Moon-Pluto square loosely (5), and am an alpha female in a social setting, but I think that's my 8th house solar stellium with Leo Sun-Mercury. IP: Logged |

I have Moon trine Pluto and have been told by many that I am very intimidating when they first meet me, most say they thought I hated them the first few times I met them until getting to know me. ------------------ Aquarius Sun ♒☀ Pisces Moon ♓🌙 Libra Rising ♎ 💫 IP: Logged |

From what I've observed in life Moon/Pluto aspects in women just make them come off as severe and intimidating. It doesn't necessary reflect on their inner nature and I don't think the aspect by itself would make them an alpha female. Mars influence is a better indicator of an alpha woman or if their Moon is in a strong sign or position (then Pluto would add to that) IP: Logged |

I have my Moon trine Pluto and I consider myself an Alpha female. I'm not sure about the opposition or the square. I would say the square might not mean the same thing------------------ "Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace." -Dalai Lama IP: Logged |

I'm wondering if this aspect can instill a need to be the "Alpha" in groups and or places, as in one may feel being taken advantage of and need to be dominant. Then again, it may just be my Mars-Ascendant conjunction talking lol. ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. Oh yes. I can see this in my daughter (and a bit in myself as I have Pluto sesisquare Moon). A need to be on top of things, a control issue. Control is a man thing. My daughter is a leader sort of. She was called the 3rd child leader when she was still a baby at day care . So not just being bossy or intimidating (she is but doesn't mean to) also the good stuff. Taking care of the others and feel deeply (very empathic! I like it, my first wish when she was a baby was her to be really independent asap! It can really upset me when she is not free to choose. I like for my child to be strong and independent yet sensitive and caring. IP: Logged |

i dont think we feel the need to be bossy,as in our egos need that, but we maybe feel that people need guidence - because whenever i take control over a group it is because i feel like they simply cant manage. I remember being in highschool and we had group assigment in English class (second language for us) ,and i was not in good terms with people i was in group with so because i didnt want to talk to them i decided to let them do the assigment all by themselfs, but once i realized how slow and undecicive they are i started pushing my opinion ,and gradually started taking controll over almost everything, from giving ideas to writing them down on paper- i just felt like my leadership is needed because with their pace they ared going nowhere.IP: Logged |
