Jupiter in the second instantly came to mind. Not from experience but from mental analysis, not sure what others may be helpful. ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. My cousin bought a house when tr Jupiter was conjunct his IC. In the same time he also managed to finally divide assets and get his part of the property after divorce. His ex wife was making a lot of problems for many years before it happened. IP: Logged |

Interesting... I was looking at the transits for when we bought our last home in this state, which was a lovely place for us for a few years. The thing that stood out immediately for me was that Mars was within about two degrees of where it is now, transiting through my H4 and making a sextile to my H6 Mars, and a trine to my H8 Jupiter. We're hoping to close the sale of our new home on the 22nd, and the aspects will be the same for me. The house we're buying has a good energy for all of us, and it "feels right" like the other one did. I'll look at the transits more closely in a bit, and get back here. We also had a really horrid experience buying a home last year, and the transits that stood out for me were hard aspects to my husband's asteroid KARMA from Saturn (a square, I think). In other news, remind me to never underestimate Mars transits. While it was moving Rx through my H4, our experiences renting a home have been pretty unpleasant. IP: Logged |

I think good transits to 2nd and 4th houses.A nice Saturn trine to the 4th house or to planets in it would help secure a good foundation home. IP: Logged |

If you're just buying to rent and or turnaround and make a profit, then I would look at transits to the 2nd and to the 8th houses. But if you're buying land/property for you to live in, then I would look at the 2nd and the 4th houses. IP: Logged |

Hm. As I look more closely at the transits when we bought the home that was a real pain (and we ended up losing a bit of money when we sold it, but we were really keen to get the hell out of there), Mars was again making a trine to my H8 Jupiter, and a sextile to my H6 Mars, but from a different sign as before. Also, Saturn was making a trine to my Jupiter and a sextile to my Mars at that time as well. But it was not a good experience at all, although it did seem like a fated one. Neptune and Saturn had moved beyond my T-square sufficiently at that point, but... Saturn was squaring my husband's H8 asteroid KARMA by about a degree, AND Uranus was transiting directly over my H9 Juno/Chiron conjunction. It was not a very fun time, as far as the house went. Interestingly, the sale of our new home is supposed to close exactly a week to the day before we closed on our unpleasant home last year. I suppose Uranus moving through my H9 might be adding to all of the moving I've done while it's been there, as prior to that I had been stationed pretty permanently where I was. But I do have a ton of information to offer, lol. I'll be back with more as I notice it, and hopefully it will help, rather than clutter up the thread. IP: Logged |

When I bought my first place a couple of years ago T Saturn in 3rd was making a very tight trine to my natal Jupiter in 7th. Not sure if that could be it. But I did feel very lucky and blessed to have found it as it was just the place I'd wanted and in my dream suburb too. IP: Logged |

We bought our last home when Mercury was Rx in Gemini and conjunct my Moon (which happens to be in my 4th). It was a terrible decision. Now we're basically stuck with it until we can flip it or rent it. I wouldn't advise buying anything that requires contracts during Mercury Rx. I even had Jupiter transits at the time, but that didn't help any.ETA: Uranus was also in my 2nd house. No quoting please. IP: Logged |

@Faith, that is a strange situation, especially since Uranus is supposed to be exalted in the 8th. Guess it wasn't this time lolHave you had better experiences with Uranus in the 2nd, where it's supposed to be in its fall? ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. Does anybody have any experience with buying property during Saturn transiting the 4th house? IP: Logged |

No, but it was there in my SR for the year I bought mine. Saturn was transiting the 8th. I don't know if it was the best investment ever. It reminded me of my parent's apartment where I grew up, so in a way it was a nostalgic decision. And a karmic one, no doubt. I dealed with a lot of stuff in that house, especially healing childhood trauma but first I went through depresion and suicide thoughts and one attempt, but eventually came on top. When I visited the place there were paintings with crying children on the wall, I should've taken that as a sign. I didn't, I was desperate for a home of my own and some intimacy at last (I lived in dorms for 7 years prior to that). I am still gonna move out of it the first chance I get. Not gonna sell it, but rent it.
When the master will decide I learned my lesson... IP: Logged |

I can look at it and say that I was uncommonly blessed to ever own a place like that. But the ups and downs feel Uranian to me. *edit

I had the opposite - Saturn was transiting my 10th house. Uranus was also in the 2nd. I echo some of the feelings that Faith had. ^^ our neighbors are constantly trespassing on our property, doing "errands" that he used to do for the people who lived here before (as if under some kind of invisible order). We finally got him to stop doing that, but it took almost a year! And a lot of patience. It was a trying test for my temper. I kind of dread Uranus entering my 3rd house (house of neighbors) too although my bank account will be happy when it moves on. Maybe we'll move again! No quoting please. IP: Logged |

Omg Faith I didn't mean it in that way! It completely blew past me that Uranus moves much slower than the other planets like Mercury and Venus Sorry lol ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. Thanks all for your feedback so far, truly, and looking forward to more.Faith 50 acres lol, how awesome!. I would feel blessed with 5. The wrong kind of neighbors can be such a nightmare and make you regret buying your dream piece of land sadly in some cases. Guys I am thinking transit Jupiter transiting the 4th trining and sextiling the rulers of the 8th and 2nd would be an awesome time to purchase land or property.... Right now Jupiter is right on my MC opposing my moon which rules my 8th so I guess not the right time for me...

That does sound amazing...but I think, if you find a property you LOVE, but the timing is off....maybe go to a professional astrologer to see if they spot any pitfalls? Because sometimes the best places go so fast. And I don't know about other people but I tend to either love places, or can't imagine living there whatsoever. I never think, "I can adjust" or "I just need to remodel it." Lukewarm feelings seem to always turn cold. Anyway, good luck! IP: Logged |

So my mom finalized the sale of my grandma's house yesterday, on her Lunar Return (today is her Solar Return). The Moon was transiting through her H3 (she bought my aunt's portion of the house and property that they shared), and the Sun transiting through her H9 (legal documents?). Mars transiting through her H1, square her IC/MC axis, and quincunx her H8 Venus. Jupiter transiting through her H10, trine her Moon, and square her Venus. So, we'll see how it goes. It's an old house that would normally require a lot of repairs, but our family has done a lot of living there for generations, and we've all been just fine. Hopefully it will work out well for her.
