My son has a grand cross that's mostly on the angles, though it may not satisfy everyone's criteria for orbs. (edit - removed chart) Full of contrasts: * Extremely sensitive (note ASC) and sweet. Creative, funny, unique. * Also bossy, warrior-like (Cap Pluto!) and unreasonable at times. In some ways he is just like any other person except certain personality traits are emphasized and more noticeable! I mean he is really sweet. And REALLY cannot wait to begin martial arts to unleash his grand-cross energy on someone or something. As for me, I have squares all over my chart and can ride his mood swings without much resistance..."Oh he's in a good mood....now he's in a bad mood"....but other people will give him trouble unless he learns to modulate everything and conceal his fur and claws (he's a bit wild!) Good thing he is also super cute. Please don't quote this post IP: Logged |

Yeah I have a mutable grandcross involving my cardinal angles and houses. What can I say??, I have always struggled with mood swings, lots of ups and downs. I have always described my life like a roller coaster and you can say that I am all about the journey and going at my own pace but stick to my goals and sooner and later achieve them.IP: Logged |

I suppose I should mention my grandcross is a nodal grandcross involving my luminaries and mercury plus my cardinal angles: IP: Logged |

When you're reading a chart, do you read angles as objects in formations like a grand cross or grand trine or T-square (example--would you see the formation Pluto square Mars square AsC square Sun as bringing the same amount of grand cross style energy to the chart as Pluto square Mars square Moon square Sun)?I have a cardinal Uranus opposite Chiron t-square with Venus in my chart. If I look at Pallas, it turns into a grand cross. I doubt it shapes my core personality as significantly as a cross of all heavy-hitters would (like, Sun-Moon-Pluto-Saturn grand cross, Yeegh)....but I notice I feel it intensely as a problem/issue/set of problems and issues at cross-purposes when it's hit by transits or in synastry, that is, when something major conjuncts one of those points. I imagine that's doubly true for heavy-hitting grand crosses. IP: Logged |

Thanks! He is. Yesterday he asked if he could play chef, so I gave him zucchini slices, a cutting board and knife, and sat right night to him. "Make SURE you don't cut your fingers." He looked at me seriously and said, "Stop worrying. I'm a highly trained professional." And got to work. I love your chart, too! Your Jupiter-Uranus on my 6 Sag Venus. And you seem really easy-going despite all the red lines. I mean, you are HERE, and I assume you are in person. "I have always struggled with mood swings," ^^ I wouldn't have guessed. IP: Logged |

@LuciaThat's what I do, too....I look at it on a case by case basis. I might mention asteroids, depending on who I'm talking to, which asteroids are involved, and how clearly the chart picture seems to match the circumstances. Pallas is big (literally) and I would count that in a grand cross, if I had it in my chart. Plus, if Pallas shows up in a pattern...that is so perfectly fitting...how could we ignore it? IP: Logged |

Haha thanks...I am easy going and as for the mood swings I guess my sag rising and MC in Virgo are good at hiding it IP: Logged |
