When my father was dying, he needed my energy around him more than anyone else. I have this healing effect on people it seems. My lovers and friends have always told me that I tend to ground them and make them feel balanced, just being in my presence.

I second this! Sun/Jupiter and Venus/Jupiter people are the life of the party. It's never a dull moment around them. But you should definitely take the whole chart into consideration.

Going by what you've all said, it could be my 9th house Jupiter, also Venus conjuncts my MC. As I mentioned, I think the sun/Venus/Jupiter parallel would play a part.

I feel like I have a very similar effect on people, there have been many times where in one way or the other..i seem to find myself in these "healing" situations, or people who.. as I can see/feel, need someone to just listen and hear what they are trying to say.

ive had situations were people were sick or thought they were, and after talking with them, helping them out a little, they would tell me how much better they felt, one guy told me how his mother was a gypsy and he had family descendent of mystics and what not.. and he said that he felt i had the "healers" touch, my energy was very potent and soothing. ive even experimented with energy work/healing on coworkers and friends stomach aches and headaches.. they said it worked but I'm still skeptical haha. also, i don't even know how many times this has happened.. but i have this weird connection with random dogs lol, i have pet cats.. but for whatever reason, for instance, ill be with a group of friends.. friends friends and they'll bring their dogs and ill be drawing or doing my thing and before i know it, i have 3-4 dogs laying all around me. then when we move to another spot, same thing happens ha. even dogs ive never met.. i was at this other friends house and they had a bunch of dogs.. and one of the dogs picks on the older female, but she was bitten on the ear and bleeding everywhere and the first place she runs is under my feet and hides by me, i had never met that dog before so it was surprising to me she came to me for comfort. but these are just examples i suppose.. happens frequently

I don't consider myself necessarily "grounded" but I'm very calm, people mention it all the time.
Countless times I can remember talking to complete strangers and being a literal crying shoulder, if I sense someone's lonely or in need of a talk ill stand and listen ha or just be there, really i think its just about feeling reciprocated and understood. it happens all the time.. and from the reactions I get it doesn't seem to be entirely common :/

i think there's a difference between what were talking about a potent healing presence vs popularity..

when it comes to my presence, i believe it hugely is in part due to my venus/pluto conj in the 7th house DC cusp.

Since i have strong venus (Taurus rising, libra sun/mars and cusp merc)venus naturally dignified in 7th.. i seem to "magnetically" draw people to me. now with pluto involved as well as the sign scorpio, this is wear those potent, deep and transformative like vibes come into play. now, i feel like this manifests in two ways, one like the one i have been describing above, where i find myself irresistibly drawn to certain people an situations.. then the other were i find that my healing energy, actually "pushes" people and detours them away.. which at the time usually makes me feel sad, but later i will find its for entirely good reasons, and i find the ones who dismiss me right way.. have a whole pile of issues themselves.. so it makes total sense.

i do believe when harness at its highest potential that scorpio/pluto can add for potent healers. this combined with venus or Neptune as well as the courage of mars can blend to make super healers!!! hehe carl jung, pluto moon conj! edgar Cayce had his neptune, uranus and pluto all personalized. i know 3 other healers, who do shaman work, reiki, yoga etc and they all have prominent pluto or scorpio. two having strong Neptune influence.

Thanks so much for taking a look at my chart. I keep forgetting about the potency of Uranus. All I associate it with is an extreme cutting off of events or people in my life. I need to start focusing on its positive characteristics and really learn to love it
I'm learning to channel those Mars Saturn moon energies too. The older I get the easier it becomes. I also need to start associating it with more positivity and not see it as a downfall.

I wouldn't say Venus or Jupiter conjunct the Sun because the sun would combust those planets. The natives have to try hard to be popular, it's not something that they naturally have.

But Venus or Jupiter conjunct the Ascendant definitely makes for someone who others love to be around. They just radiate magnetism. Venus because people love to be around people they see as beautiful, and Jupiter because Jupiter just makes you feel good.

yeah embrace that uranian energy! I can see where its sudden changes and impulses can be rather disruptive..and chaotic but it can be a damn near electric in inspiration. the potential genius of Uranus is amazing to see and esp a scorpio Uranus, the intuition and perceptions could be spot on, I feel like that combo puts Uranus in a wicked mood!!
that's awesome too that your growing into your moon/mars/Saturn conj, can be quit a harsh and frustrating combination, but can really harness and learn to channel your emotionally aggressive energies in a responsible way, the wonderful thing about Saturn is that it ages so gracefully, the lessons it bears really does accumulate experiential wisdom. seems to me too that with the combination of planets there's this push and pull of independence and being apart of something, or contributing to society in some way.

Oh yes indeed, there's been so much learning and suffering and without it I guess it's hard to empathise with others. It's like people that work in a drug and alcohol rehab centre have once been addicts themselves! Because hey understand the pain.
You're so right, the push pull is a little crazy at times. That's my life lol. I want, I don't want, I want, I can't want, I want closeness I want independence. Aaaaaargh lol. I seriously feel like I have such a Gemini split within me. I'm learning though and you're right, Saturn gets better with age, like a good wine
