my brother and his girlfriend have that (in Pisces, both of them).

HER father was absent (divorced), OUR father wasn`t. He was always being there for the family. Though in the formative years of my brother our family took care of our grandfather who had had a stroke, and my Dad additionally had to work longer hours than the years before (though he was home every evening and always spending time with us kids and supporting my mother with caring for my grandfather - it was a taxing situation for all involved actually).

However, maybe he "fell through" as an authority figure for my brother (he wasn`t that big on being authoritian anyway; not to me either, and I have Saturn retro, a configuration that is also said to relate to an absent father. Well as I said, my father was very present, but maybe not as an authority? and that is why these configurations show up in our charts? my brother and his girlfriend have Saturn retro too btw)

BTW my other brother has Sun in 12th house as well (and Saturn retro - I am NOT - however- convinced of the Saturn retro theory, happens just too often).
