Sun = strength, vitality, radiance. Those who are mastering this: leaders, healers, performers.Moon = rhythm, nurturing, creativity. Those who are mastering this: musicians, mothers, artists. Mercury = thoughtfulness, articulation, exchange. Those who are mastering this: intellectuals, communicators, merchants. Venus = pleasure, grace, beauty. Those who are mastering this: entertainers, clothiers, artists. Mars = courageous, initiating, competitive. Those who are mastering this: soldiers, leaders, athletes. Jupiter = optimistic, philosophic, jovial. Those who are mastering this: leaders, publishers, humorists. Saturn = constructive, wise, steadfast. Those who are mastering this: builders, fathers, leaders. Chiron = healing, insightful, natural. Those who are mastering this: therapists, teachers, healers. Uranus = innovative, far-reaching, psychic. Those who are mastering this: scientists, inventors, tele-communicators. Neptune = artful, sensitive, dreaming. Those who are mastering this: artists, spiritualists, visionaries. Pluto = resilience, power, resourcefulness. Those who are mastering this: healers, revolutionaries, leaders. No one masters them all at once. We take a strength and perfect it. We take awareness of our weaknesses and work on them. It is a balance of fullness of soul. It takes lifetimes. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions | Expert rectification ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |

Very nice! Im wondering, if you have a planet in pisces for example, wich is the last zodiac sign, it means that you master the powers of that planet? Because from what i know, our zodiac sign represents how far we are on our road to complete ascension. Hmm hmm hmmmIP: Logged |

That's all symbolism none factual. If you reincarnate you likely reincarnate thousands if not hundreds of thousands of life times. Just because Pisces is at the end. But its water-mutable. Aries is cardinal-fire. Just like the colour purple is a mix of blue and red. That's all it is, there's nothing else to it. Just because it's the last sign doesnt mean anything IP: Logged |

I think he meant if your a scientist then you are mastering uranus. Well just stating the likelihood that those people in certain jobs are likely mastering the planets that they fell under. Or at least are the perfect symbol of what that planet represents which is a helpful way to understand in which way each planet effects us IP: Logged |

I have modified the original post a bit to add in Chiron, since so many of us use it even if no other asteroids, and to tweak Uranus & Pluto just a bit. Wasn't satisfied with Uranus, so I replaced "activists" with "tele-communicators." For Pluto, replaced "depth" with "resourcefulness."I was trying to use non-overlapping descriptors. quote: Originally posted by venus2tinkerbell: [I have a terrible habit of formulating questions while people are speaking; which are we mastering?thank you beautifully put.
I used the term 'mastering' to pick out types of people that come to mind when these planetary energies are described. The athlete who exudes vitality and an Apollonian nature, or the model with an Adonisian physique -- both of whom illustrate the Solar masculine principle. I stopped short of saying 'mastered' past tense for a reason. So you may be able to see one of these stronger within yourself than the others -- one that you have mastered more than the others. That's all. It may or may not show up in the type of prominence in your birth chart that you'd expect. For me, I'd say it is Saturn. quote: Originally posted by Gundahar: Very nice! No, I wouldn't say that. We refer to Pisces as the 'last' sign of the zodiac, because we're referencing the movement of planets from an arbitrary start or a starting place of internal principle (Aries). But both 0 Aries/30 Pisces and 30 Virgo/0 Libra sit on the celestial equator of 0° north/south. So both points can be considered 'starting' places with precession as a backward movement. Maybe its to progress in evolution you have to regress in learning direction (from conception/birth/Virgo through balance/justice/Libra). If Pisces held such a total notion of mastery we'd see Pisceans holding a group pattern of some type of clearly more advanced development than other zodiacal groups and Aries types far less developed. I have never seen such a pattern even suggested in my observations of people. Thanks for stopping in to read, everyone. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions | Expert rectification ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |

Aspects between planets are helpful in understanding how to develop strengths and address weaknesses. My Pluto-Mars sextile agrees with your use of the word resourcefulness . I have always thought of Uranus as a goddess sending messages from on high. Yes, those under her influence would feel a need broadcast her messages of Unity and Oneness. -------------------------------- My inner and outer planets make several "positive" and challenging aspects. Those aspect serve as clues to the work that needs to be done with each planet. Pluto and Neptune offer many wonderful gifts, but maybe my rejection of Saturn has resulted in an imbalance with Neptune and Pluto guiding the majority of my decisions. And maybe pain from Pluto and Neptune related issues have helped me to understand the value of Saturn...or maybe Pluto in Libra demands balance between Saturn and Neptune (both influential planets on my nodal axis), and Pluto does this mostly through a tight square to Venus in Cancer in 11... Somehow it makes sense to connect all of this to my Chiron-Moon conjunction. wounded. healer. is a state... but it can also represent cycles, can't it? Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe one day you can help me with this, but to me it seems that wounding and healing is a process, and in Chiron it is a cycle. Within that cycle are the energies that wound and the energies that heal. The lesson isn't to exchange Uranus for Saturn or Saturn for Pluto because healing isn't rejection or denial of what we are. The energies represented by Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn all must live- together- in one, in Chiron (the natal chart within the chart). When Chiron is in the position to heal, I don't think Chiron has anything to do with any past injury. The wound is life, and the cure is life, and Chiron is life. Did you know Chiron's Chiron is in Taurus? Read that somewhere. It makes sense to me. I don't think I've mastered Chiron at all. But I think Chiron might be the secret behind a new kind dreaming. Maybe Chiron offers the Piscean fluidity of the dream world to this world.
eta: I know it's pretty ballzy (with a z) of a novice like myself to tell an astrologer like yourself all this stuff I just think. Soon Saturn will have me studying first, then I can sound like an educated fool. Thanks always to you and the other astrologers for letting people like me not know what we're talking about and not be punished for it. Instead we get invaluable lessons. lots of edits because I really want edit this out completely but I won't.
