I have Mercury in Taurus and Venus in Gemini, both in the 9th house(no conjuction). I'd like to know if my Mercury have some "Venus in Gemini influence" (Taurus's ruling planet is Venus) or not?------------------

Yes, your planets are in Mutual Reception. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutual_reception "In astrology, mutual reception is when two planets are in each other's signs of rulership.[1] Mutual Reception Two planets are in mutual reception when they are in each other's signs (for example Mercury is in Aries and Mars is in Gemini). If the condition of each planet in mutual reception is strong, they will strengthen and provide assistance to one another. Some modern astrologers believe they will also take on some of each other's attributes." ------------------ A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step...Lao Tzu IP: Logged |

And what about my Sun in Taurus? It's not a mutual reception to Venus in Gemini. So is this Sun position influenced by Venus in Gemini too?IP: Logged |

If your Moon is in Leo, then it is in MR to your Sun/Taurus...orIf your Sun is in the 4th house and the Moon is posited in the 5th. Then they are in MR by sign. Mutual Receptions are supportive, a trade-off of energies and intuitive understanding. ------------------ A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step...Lao Tzu IP: Logged |
