I'm not a mod, but I'm gonna "close" this topic. I don't want any further discussion or negativity under my name. So if anything else is said here Mirage or Lucia, please just let it be said by what ever spirit needs to free itself, without responding, and let this thread sink to the bottom. I don't understand---my (long, thoughtful) post from yesterday, and a bunch of the responses to it, are just MISSING. There was nothing inappropriate or off-topic in anything I'd written. Hopefully, it was just some kind of electronic glitch or malfunction. If a person is actually deleting our on-topic, not-inappropriate posts on purpose, that's really ugly and psycho and absolutely pathetic. I do hope it's not that!!!IP: Logged |

I just saw this! And i'm torn, because I want to honor V2T's request to let the thread sink--and I will do that after this post---but I also want anyone reading here to know that a bunch of posts are mysteriously missing. If someone is doing that on purpose, what a mean and ugly thing.

Was it a conversation about Jellyfish? V2T said on the previous page she posted 11 comments but none of them "stuck" and she said she even had a convo about jellyfish with you (lucia23). I just thought she meant that she was ready to hit enter, but then decided to delete it, so couldnt really make a comment that felt she should post. If that is so, that was pretty noble of her to just say what she did and not complain. But I think it is pretty bad. One time I think i posted something, and a minute later someone might have deleted it, but I didn't make sure if it was on the page or not, but I thought i hit it. So i know it feels terrible. If that was so for me, as it may be for you, well its not your fault, it's someone elses low feelings.

@Soren, yes, jellyfish!! We had a whole conversation on here yesterday--which "stuck", was posted, and involved quoting back and forth--and this morning, many hours later, it's all missing, as if we never posted any of those comments. It was about a (cute, and I think apt) metaphor of the jellyfish as inner child. sorry, V2T, I really want to be honoring your desire to let the thread sink--but since a bunch of my own comments are involved too (LEO) (getting hit by eclipse), I'm having an almost-impossible time resisting my urge to make sure others on the site are aware of what's going on. That way maybe people who want to stay on the site and post can be a part of the discussion about how the moderation might best work to encourage a good atmosphere. aw, i thought V2T deserved a long thread of replies for this topic. i was disappointed because i was sure with the lacking members who came would have gave her a long one, and seemed to be not going to be an active thread. it makes me feel good you guys got a good convo from it. it is a strict forum guideline to NEVER delete any posts. i think we should complain to randall, someone was likely deleting them (i mean i'm not you so i dont know what happened) IP: Logged |

maybe someone thinks there are "sides" here at LLi dont think so. even the people who left, i wasn't against. i only debated with them because they were bringing up something that i found false. (saying that someone supported someone elses thoughts) which was an assumption. that is the only reason why i debated, and didnt want any to leave. so i dont think there is sides here. i value trying to help everyone. or be good with everyone. 7th house planet as my main outlet. so maybe some mod thinks they are being usurped by the "other team" and faught back. there are no teams. just members IP: Logged |

maybe this will heal the minds of any who left i felt bad when i saw what the 'harsh' guy said. i did not want to see it, but i still tolerated it, cause it didn't do me any harm. all we can do is do what is best for ourselves, that's all i've done for 8 years. so i can't vouch for how you felt. from what i read it didnt really seem to effect the people being directly insulted. as they seemed to have their moods in line just as they always are; pretty apt. they thought the mod stepping into the thread hated them and wanted some malicious damage done to them. i can't speak or assume what the mod felt or hoped for. that would be an assumption. so yes i did debate the assumption that she did not have malicious intent. that slipped my mind, didnt even think it was important or come into my mind because all i saw was her defending the other guy. which is, from an objective view, in fact not a bad thing. maybe she didn't care or like him, but i know she saw a guy acting from his heart and decided to make sure he would not be adorned to heck with group banging the guy simply stated that some actors might get paid more because they work more, he was then told that she was disappointed in him that he could not see inequality. he then simply said that perhaps the actors did work more, (which is a valid opportune point) and then he said this is why it's impossible to reason with ladies. and being me, a guy who always sees my group of friends tease girls, i mean through out life, like "ahh women, they are strange" or something. he was a guy expressing his feelings. i have no problems with that. i never had a problem with anything well there are some things but i always let them slide without me trying to attack or criticize. i can easily do that, in fact i've always done that. i think there is strength. but that's just my own personal thing of what i do and others feel different obviously we all do. so i did not stop a guy expressing his feelings. just as i didnt stop anyone else. i only tried to stop actions, real tangible things taken place. especially when they, i understand their feelings, it was a complaint and wanting something to be done. but i disagreed that. and just the fact they, in expressing how they felt, said an invalid point, i used that point to argue, even if deep down, it wasn't about that point, it was about their feelings and wants. ^^ it sometimes happens when someone makes a MASSIVE long post, they click enter, and then it takes about 20 minutes to actually post, and by the time it does, all the comments that were made in the mean time disappear from the exact moment they clicked "submit post". that is the only exceptionIP: Logged |

yup i'm sure. lucia can easily verify if she ever noticed she made a long post, and when she went back to the thread (right after sending it), it wasnt there for 5 or more minutes. (then 10 mins of convo would ensue, and finally, there the post is!) all their comments from after she clicked "submit" would be gone IP: Logged |

There was this one instance, I'm pretty sure I could hear someone laughing in the background when my posts magically disappeared every time I posted them, there was no foul reason behind the magic, it was done just for fun. But it did make me aware that magic is possible.IP: Logged |

i thought it was actually a magical rule to not delete. there is something sacred about it i find. but maybe even the owner thinks that it's just for astrological data collection, to ensure nothing too juicy gets erased. where as i thought it was some kind of god rule that god dictated. i was like.. amazing (to that god's law) IP: Logged |
