I never took a moment of "silence" with this transit but now I do it's quite shocking to say the least.

I'm currently going through an exact transit Saturn square my natal Pluto (7 minutes applying now / exact next tuesday / and ofcourse after that it will turn retro so having it again in some months).

About 14 years ago I had my last tSaturn square natal Pluto. When it was 8 minutes (retro) from exact I got the bad news that I had Cancer (surgery followed quickly).

I looked at 7 years later when tSaturn was conjunct my natal Pluto.. my mom was in the process of dying from cancer. It took 9 months for her to die and during that time I went through the peak of this transit.

I looked at 21 years ago when tSaturn was opposite my natal Pluto and fk!! also my DAD was in the process of dying from Cancer and also here the same story: I went through the PEAK of that transit during this time (also for him it took 9 months to die)

OK.. tell or prove me!! This is not ALWAYS a doom time, IS IT??

@ and to make it a bit more 'scary', in ALL of the above cases (including "this current period") I was left by partners. So a double smack in the face at those times you might say (let's hope with a current exception).

What my Pluto does?

Pluto = conjunct my Sun/Moon midpoint within 1 degree in the 2nd house.

But no hard aspects to that.
Sextile to Venus.
Sextile to Jupiter/Neptune.

Pluto (death, change) in the 2H (values) is lessons around loss, it will take away whatever you are too attached to in order to teach you detachment leading to a transformation in your value system. Since the sun and moon represent the parents and pluto is conjuncting your midpoint the planet that happens to rule death with saturn the planet of karma and lessons coming along and forming a hard aspect to that it can mean hard lessons dealing with loss and death involving your parents..

Sorry sweetheart, may they be well resting in peace.

Where you very close to them??

Hypatia, you nailed it.

Lessons around loss... I remember the things I read about Pluto conjunct Sun/Moon midpoint years ago. And all it said was LOSS/LOSS/LOSS including huge transformation. And representing the parents, wow yea! (pluto ruler of my 4th might add to that).

Yes, close to both. The yearss before my dad died (I was 25 years old when he passed) I did literally everything I could to give him a better life simply because I felt/saw he suffered a lot at his work and I suffered with him, felt he wouldn't reach old age (died at 55).
With my mom it was my sis who totally took care of her. But I didn't have the power anymore, went through a lot myself (got heavy surgery nr. 2 during her sick 9 months). And I never was the type calling her every day like my other sisters did. But we were close, on a more distant level so to speak. It was because of my own heavy circumstances that I couldn't be that close as I was with her. But she waited until I was there to die and she thanked me for everything and asked me & sis if we would allow her to "go" and ofcourse, we said "yes.." after which she died some hours later. She was 69.

Oh yes I kept thinking her pluto must rule her 4H and was going to ask you what does Pluto rule in you chart but forgot to include it in my response, I was getting ready for bed.

I am so glad she waited for you and that you guys were able to reassure her it was ok for her to go

Ah thank you so very very very much guys

quote:
transiting Moon at 24+ Capricorn right now,
conjuncts MY 'Ceres Capricorn 25+ trine Moon Virgo 24.56'.

I so love these ^ kinds of things.. we should all do it more often, sharing an actual eye catching transit during a post as it says so much about who we are at that specific moment. Those moments of reply aren't less significant or instructive than any other moments we live. Yea... lovable~! (suggesting this under a void-of-course moon in Cap right now might not be that effective ;d )

My parents btw (it suddenly caught me) had both their Asc tightly conjunct at 27-28 Virgo. That's conjunct my Pluto (27'43) and Sun/Moon midpooint (26'59) Virgo. And so he passed with tSaturn on the Desc while she with tSaturn on the Asc (14 years later).

I will later check my progressed Sun/Moon phases during these specific "doom periods". Transit Saturn corresponds with it. It takes 28 years for Saturn to come back at its place and the progressed Sun/Moon phase will then also be the same as it was during birth.

@ heading for a progressed New Moon (pMoon conjunct nSun) these days (7-8 applying) I suddenly realize. No coincidence I would say. The 4th harmonic progressed phases underline a new start of ANY kind. So I should find this in all the periods I described above.. (square/opp/conj from pMoon to nSun).

My dear Mir, I am so sorry for you had to face so many hardships and losses at such a young age...

I have Saturn in Cancer.

I am going through Pluto opposite Saturn transit right now.

The first hit - mom diagnosed as Alzheimers.
The second hit - dad diagnosed as Cancer. He had an urgent operastion. He is fine now.

Mom is still with us but her mind is not.

My health is suffering as well. Tyroids, uterus, lungs all are problematic for the time being...

I have had trs Pluto conjuncting Asc, Sun, Mercury while Uranus squaring them all. It was not easy

But Pluto opposite Saturn is the real deal. It breaks your life into pieces.

In year 2019, trs. Saturn will square Pluto.

which makes me think I might loose one of my parents or both.

Also, one of my best friends 5 years ago while she was having her trs.Pluto opposite Saturn she was diagnosed as lung & lymph Cancer stage 4. at the age of 38. She survived. She is in great health condition now.

Thank God no aspect stays with us forever.

Ah sis. . . . .

I remember having gone through that tPluto opp. natal Saturn too. I just had a more specific look.

When dad got diagnosed in '96 (also surgery followed quickly after) tPluto was opposite my Saturn by 1 deg. But it went retro and the aspect never became exact during his process to death. But right after he passed it reached the peak (I was 25).
Having an exact Saturn square Asc-Merc natally already, and so Pluto made that T-square 1-2 months after him passing (in exactness).

I suddenly realized yesterday that I lost my grandma on january 6 this year (she survived my parents and was 96 years old).
tSaturn was at 22 Sag then, applying to my nPluto-Sun/Moon midp. by 5 deg. So I guess or it might be that I already had a loss this time (again). We were not THAT close but during christmas days always together (the mom of my dad) - an anual event from childhood.

**My health is suffering as well. Tyroids, uterus, lungs all are problematic for the time being...**

I'm very familiar with health problems too. During my 1st described hit (tsaturn square nPluto) I lost my uterus at age 31 (in fact a bigger "loss" than I suggested).

I hope not. Saturn will be squaring my Pluto again, within 5-6 degrees of Capricorn (my Pluto is in Libra). I've been dreading that + Pluto.

I'm so sorry about your parents. I'm terrified of losing my dad, and my sister.
