The outer planet placements-because of their generational impact-are harder to infer without considering the house that they are in.

Is Neptune in the 12th/1st or 2nd?

Hello Kirki....

What I've found in my experience, is that the sign DOES flavor the planet. And that planet expresses THAT zodiac energy... if you're looking through a western chart lens.

Think of how New Year's Day works... at 23:59:59... you are still in the previous year. When clock strikes Midnight, it's the NEW year.

So strange how that energy works.

Of course, you can study the sidereal expressions. All the planets and signs can be quite different.

But, I think that 'whatever' system you chose, then 'only' apply the rules of that delineation, to get the expression for THAT.

Later on, you can try to dissolve some boundaries and dream-up new interpretations based on hybrid uses of systems. It makes for VERY interesting astrology.

Learn ONE system solidly. Then-- expand from there.

I hope that what I've said can be useful to you.

Definitely-though, a 29+(30) degree planet IS the flavor of 'that' zodiac. Sun at 29.59'59" Cancer is still zodiac Cancer, until 0.00 LEO occurs. You can't mathematically be both. The energies of those really count.

A 30-degree placement (not near retrograde) can PROGRESS (even relatively very soon or immediately) 'into' the next flavor for a while. But your 'imprint' chart would be the zodiac you breathed into your body and soul AT the moment you absorbed and began to exchange earth's atmosphere for the very first time.

Wire-matrix. Then, we ADD to it, with every subsequent breath and Participation as an important part of earth's soul.

~~~ haha, See how special you are?
We breathe the same cosmic energies... No matter where on earth you are.
So mystical, and quite magical.
Neptune in 12th in Sagittarius heh?....hmmm
Neptune in 12th is quite powerful. Its in its own house. How do you see your Mom? More especially when it comes to her communication style?
That is interesting. Is your Mom religiously inclined or the type of person who reads books that have a religious theme to them?
I think i tied it to the 10th house being the Mom and the 3rd house from the 10th is in Sag(Mom's younger siblings and communication style)
So when you said "Gemini"? I thought that perhaps this would be the father's communication style/younger siblings.
Moon-Neptune square suggests a strongly compassionate inner nature and/or strong ,sensitive energies that would border on psychic.
My Mom has Neptune-Moon opp in Sco/Tau. She is into religion and prays defensively against the devil/evil in the world(Scorpio).
My Mom has Mercury in Scorpio square Uranus in Leo(wide orb). I am now thinking this whole preoccupation she has with evil is also Merc in Scorpio?
Anywho in my case the 10th house cusp is Cap. The 3rd house from the 10th is Pisces. My Mom has vivid dreams and can say things that come to pass.
When you described the way your mother prays ,instantly i wondered if her mercury has to do stg with pluto.Sounded more like an obsession than the prayer i have in my mind.Ofcourse prayer is stg too personal ,but for me prayer aims to calmness of mind and soul.
Hmmm. I wish i could figure out her Asc .
She has Pluto square Sun. And i have always attributed this to her strict devotion to diet(Pluto in Virgo).
Maybe Pluto in Virgo could show itself up as religious devotion. Since prayer is a form of a ritual/habit. Can't be sure
You have intercepted signs in your chart? The double emphasis of Sag/Gem on the 12/1st and 6th/7th respectively is worth exploration.
I was approaching the 12th house interpretation from a differing angle. But suffice it to say; the 12th is the house of vocation and where we can offer up service without expecting compensation
The "compensation" if any, is the effect the experience has on us i.e rewarding to the self and enhancing ones outlook(1st house is 2nd from the 12th).
So Sagittarius is often tied up to religion,study,foreign places and ideals(non exhaustive list) And Neptune being there makes this area of life strongly intuition based.
If making contact to the 1st house closely - it can even suggest sensitivity that can develop into psychic intution.
Yes intercepted aquarius in 2nd,leo in 8th.Neptune doesnt conjuct asc.Neptune actually is not one of my favourite planets,and its strong in my chart.
Id liketo ask you stg and if you have mood and time maybe you could answer.Last few years i got a big desire to move abroad,practically its not possible now...later... I have pluto in 9th house ,trines my 7th house ruler.And 9th house ruler is in 5th house conjucting 6th house cusp.Jupiter is in 3rd conjucting 4th house cusp...These aspects are favourable for moving abroad?
Are you bored with your country of birth or feel like u have reached a proverbial glass ceiling?
There is often idealism when it comes to moving to another country.And often that is followed by a culture shock that has one either long to go back or feel let down and trapped (at worst)
I would look to solar arc/progressed Saturn /Uranus /Pluto on the Moon as that would help with a practical outlook.
The same progressions/solar arch on the Sun/Mars could help with endurance(which can be helpful too)
I moved a fair distance from home when Solar Arc Uranus was on my natal Sun and Solar Arc Sun opp Moon and square natal Mars.Solar Arc Mars was sextile Sun and conjunct natal Pluto
Moon had Progressed to Aries which often signifies new beginnings and transiting Saturn opp natal Jupiter and trans Pluto opp Jupiter was also happening at the time
If you are psychologically prepared for an outcome that may not live up to your expectations and live with it, you are ready to move.
I understand this quest to find that feeling of "home". I have the IC in Cancer with Moon also in Cancer.
Progressed Moon in Libra is where mine is too. It also is currently in square aspect to Pluto/ natal Moon,
Libra often accentuates the need to have someone or feel included/appreciated by someone. Loneliness can mount- especially with this conjunction to Pluto.
Jupiter transit to conjunct progressed Moon may open you up and bring out the inner romantic.
You also have Venus in 7th(me too )
Are there any contacts involving the natal Sun/Moon? Preferably from progressed outer planets or solar arcs?
Is Aries on the Ic?
I like the Mars trine progressed Saturn and progressed Jupiter trine natal Asc
Taurus on the Ic suggests that you are a calm/centred person at your core. It is also the energy of tangibles that denote security/well being. You are stable and docile internally.
Uranus will transit Taurus in 2018/ 2019 I think those years may be significant to make you rearrange your emotional needs.
The nice thing about Taurus is that it is gounded and has the ability to create a home wherever it goes. It is also the energy of permanence so decisions tend to have an "absolute" feel about them.
If you feel ready then go fo it. The chart does not dictate but illustrates the possible "why's?" things are what they are.
Aries on the Ic is a survivor. At the core of someone with this position is an independent spirit who wants to live life on their own terms.
How was Uranus in Aries for you?
