This is typical of why much of the hide-out-until-its-over advice from some astrologers is entirely impractical.1. All weighty decisions we make come with some risk that it won't be exactly the right thing.
2. Mercury-Rx means more than anything 'going back' in thinking -- or study. So if it is hitting a personal point in your chart, it literally means 'going back to study.'
3. Make your decision in such a way you understand where the possible adjustments are that will allow the unexpected to be tolerable. It could mean you drop a class or change teachers, etc. Ask about that sort of thing when you register. Then no worries.
If you feel ready for course work again, go for it! Tell yourself you will do well at it.
Good luck and believe in yourself!
