There's anyone here who have sun hard aspects (conjunction-opposition-square) and didn't have problems with father?He was just lovely and present.

If you had problems... could you tell me the aspect and what that problem was?

I have Sun square Pluto as well as my brother and my youngest sister.

We never have problems with Father. Our Father is lovely and present. He has Sun conjunct Pluto. He is our role model for what we see in a man and I am dreaming for a husband who is just similar with him: hardworking, dedicated, loyal, and a family man. He also can do anything, from doing household things (laundry, cooking, etc) to fixing any broken things.

The only problem is (or maybe not the problem for me), he is not that emotional due to his moon in Aquarius and his mercury in Virgo.

I also have Sun conjunct Ceres.

I think you add a few things on your post?I didn't notice before.Wow I have mars in cancer and I'm like that too.I have a "Don't touch me" attitude.I don't know why.

Sorry my mistake for some reason I thought you meant he didn't really did something bad directly to you.Do you think that makes you want somebody who protects you and kinda do the things your father didn't? What you have said about the movies is sad.

I had problems with my dad too and at times I yearn for someone who protect me.I don't want to act like "hey daddy" that is bad to me no offense for those who like this habit but a dad is a dad and a partner is a partner.I just wish this security. Probably because I didn't have it.

I meant your grandfather had problems with alcohol?

I'm glad you are using your chart for improvement.That is the most wise decision,I think.I can totally see the shift of course on your relationships happening even more.

Sun square Jupiter here..

apparently this aspect makes me waste my energy, have bad focus and have discipline problems, all the above is correct, I get frustrated quickly but I get the results, possibly with self control and maturity overcomes this aspect, it is very difficult, I feel that opaque everything my capricronio that I have in my graphic.

If we could pick everything would be much easier hahaha Mars in scorpio people seems to go the extremes.Some people love them,some people hate them.I heard somebody talking about a scorpio mars guy trying to choke his partner but the girl said she likes.

Yeah, I've read somewhere that Sun conjunct Ceres means that Father is nurturing towards the child, and it's kind of true in my case.

I think the bond I have to my Father is stronger than to my Mother, although I do have moon in 4th house also. Many times she's just too emotional and too worrier for me (Mars in Cancer I suppose) and it is the opposite of my Father, it's a great balance at home because when my Mother gets emotional, my Father will try to say to her that she needs to calm down and thinks first before emotions get her and hurts others. But usually she doesn't listen as she can be like a tidal wave of emotions and he just sits there with those unemotional face didn't understand why the reaction should be like that LOL. He will wait until she has done with those emotions then my Mom will feel guilty and appreciate him later. I've never met a man who is just too patient with woman emotions like him. lol.

Dropping by to see if anyone has a good daddy. I was born in the Uranus in Aquarius generation. Being a Leo born in that time is quite crap. Tight opposition to Uranus and loose one to my Jupiter. Daddy was barely ever there and made promises he couldn’t keep lol. I would be VERY suprised if anyone really had a good daddy. For the conjunction, I think it depends on what planet it’s conjunct with. An old friend of mine is an Aquarius sun tightly conjunct Uranus. There were times in her life where her dad was really close to her and very caring. Other times, not so much.

My dad isn't that terrible of a parent, but if we're being honest, he isn't really best suited for the role. He doesn't have a job, for example, so he isn't able to really provide for a child financially. Aside from this though, as long as a child doesn't grow up following his example, he can be a good indicator of what to do differently as an adult.

As a child, I used to be afraid that I take after him and that I'd even turn out to be much worse in the long run. The interesting part is I can no longer explain why I thought this. It's possible this kind of thinking is beginning to change.

On the other hand, my dad is at least present and he's not abusive. If we ignore that he has no job, he can do some amount of parenting, just not the financial part of being a parent.

My dad is also an example of why you don't just look at someone's Sun sign when considering their personality. Supposedly, he's a Capricorn. I doubt this would be anyone's guess if they met him though.

My dad is weird and silly. We had never a close relationship (?) until my mother died (I was 21, I'm 22 now). We never say 'I love you' to each other and we never hug but I know he loves me. He buys me a lot of stuff and he cares a lot about my health. He talks a lot and I don't. I don't know how to describe our relationship. He knows when I feel happy, sad, angry... Even if I don't tell him, I have Sun sextile Neptune, I think that's the reason and he is a Pisces as well, like me.

My father left my mother pregnant with me. He tried to contact me few times in my life, but in every encounter, he dissapeared.

Was an absent father, don't know if he still alive.

Sun conjunct Neptune. No real father-son relationship with my Dad. Never had one.

But i know of another Sun-Neptune person who has a good relationship with their Dad. So one can never be sure.

I think its the synastry between us. Our composite has Uranus-Sun-Moon-Venus conj in Libra. Saturn/Jupiter conjunct.
