Renowned fashion designer Kate Spade has committed suicide. She is a Capricorn born with Sagittarius moon and unknown ASC. The ASC may be identified soon as a birth certificate is typically released after death.If you recall, earlier a few weeks ago Avicii also committed suicide in his home. tr Saturn in Capricorn was hitting a lot of things in his chart. Kate Spade also has a lot of things touching this tr Saturn in Capricorn, not to mention the tr Uranus in Taurus that probably piled onto it. tr Jupiter and Neptune are also affecting her chart but I think it is quite obviously Miss Saturn at play here.... It seems like tr Saturn home in Capricorn really does have a massive effect on people, especially those with Capricorn dominant. If you are a Capricorn or Capricorn dominant please take care of yourself and seek help if you are going through something serious. Suicide is not the answer but if you are feeling suicidal please do not be afraid to seek help; there is always someone there to lend a hand and I know my dear Capricorns can often feel afraid or ashamed of asking others for help. You don't always have to be the tough one. Please, I promise you there is someone there for you to help...

She had her Sun at 2' Capricorn. TR Saturn went over her Sun and is now back to conjunct it again but she ended it first.
Her Mercury is at 18' Capricorn , TR Pluto is on it. Maybe she has a Mercury ruled ASC, like Virgo or Gemini. Her design is about simplicity, clean cut edges. Maybe she had a Virgo RisingIP: Logged |

Don’t want to derail original post but have a question about heavy transits. tPluto along with tUranus (Aries) have done a few mental numbers on me (Cancer Sun, Venus, Mercury + Cap Moon) but there’s something inside of me that goes “ oh yeah, mother *******!? BRING IT ON!!”
What would make a person cave under heavy transits and another to become a warrior??? I am honestly so effin stubborn that I refuse to give up. If it’s the last thing I ever do, I’m gonna get up that mountain..IP: Logged |

The pattern of their thoughts and loss of hope. It is helped by the strength of the natal Sun and/or Mars. In your case, Mars is parallel Pluto (but both contra-parallel Uranus), and the Sun gets the highest strength rating of the traditional planets in your chart. Orange pretty much hit on the transits-based answer to the timing of this woman's suicide today:
- Saturn at 7CAP24-Rx nearing her natal Sun at 2-3° Capricorn
- Saturn's declination 22S22 has been roughly parallel her Sun [23S25] for a while
- Uranus had well begun its transit trine natal Sun
- Pluto 20CAP50-Rx had been in transit conjunct her natal Mercury for a while and was tightening with it. ------------------

I was just looking for her and her husband Andy Spade date of births in order to see their synastry,.....and these two turned out to be born on the same date! December 24, 1962So, its a perfect example of how the same transit affects differently the same planets in another chart. In Kate's chart most likely the angles were affected from something at that time along with progressions with the angles probably as well. IP: Logged |

Exactly .. I am a dominant Capricorn .. having ASC in Capricorn, Saturn does conjuction with the ascendant at 2 degrees and in 12th house I have Neptune and Uranus ..
Currently i have the transit, pluto conjuction saturn and Asc, and Saturn is playing with the generational planets. I can say that I am waking up, I am more aware of my failures all these years, I am calmer, and above all I feel happy .. and eager to grow .. natally my ascendant and saturn makes good aspects to personal planets .. especially to pluto .. Can this be the reason that is positive so far? The only thing I can add negative is a conflict between my father and my family .. he is depressed and he made us all scare ... luckily everything is fine.

Well, Franco. ...you have the Pluto transit, not the Saturn transit. These two planets operate differently.
Kate Spade had the Saturn transit. With Pluto in the mix.When TR Saturn comes to conjunct your ASC, and your Saturn, probably next year in the early months, then come here and share your experience. Because I'm gonna have that in a few years too. IP: Logged |

Now Anthony Bourdain killed himself. ....this TR Saturn in Capricorn has been hard to many cardinals. Like Kate Spade, Anthony also has his Sun being transited by Saturn for a second blow now, in his case it is an opposition, 4' Cancer SunIP: Logged |

Great analysis Kannon! I also wanted to chime in that she hid her pain from the public because she didn't want to have any stigma attached to her brand. I get a feeling that she had been struggling with suicidal idealization for a long time, and Uranus trine her Sun finally gave her the jolt to act upon it. IP: Logged |

Sometimes life just breaks you down. I see everywhere, "reach out, you are loved". Some of us have lost too much, and have ******** for family members. No social life. Isolated. etc, etc. Sometimes life is just too much. IP: Logged |
