Jupiter typically brings more ease in the area of life it touches. This doesn't mean that there will absolutely be no challenges there. But it does suggest that you will be at peace throughout that challenging time. Or you will find a way to accept "what is" instead of fighting against it.
When transiting the 4th house angle, this could equal a general attitude of optimism that all things will work out fine.
The sun rules the 4th house in Chaldean astrology, so there might be a feeling when Jupiter is there that there is a divine force or inexplicable energy that is guiding you through whatever challenges there are in life.
In tropical astrology, the 4th house is ruled by the Moon and so Jupiter transiting there would suggest changes in the family status i.e an addition to the family, a move, relations between member families being better etc.
Sometimes Jupiter in that house can even suggest someone passing on. But this is usually good in retrospect because perhaps the person was long consumed by pain and death brought about relief.
It could also mean the death of someone may bring about a financial gain or windfall that changes the family atmosphere and relations for the better.
Jupiter for me always brings about the feeling of closeness with divine universal energy. No matter the tragedy or death suffered.
Jupiter was in Virgo and squared my natal Jupiter when my mother told me that my father was NOT my father.
For many perhaps this news would have been tragic. But for me it was confirmation of what I have always felt: that my feeling distant from my Dad was not imagined. The biological aspect confirmed that.
I got peace knowing that perhaps I was never meant to have a "father" figure beyond the ideal "God the father" ideology. I was content knowing that.
