I've been meaning to ask this for so long and keep forgetting to. Can anyone tell me what are the *a* and *s* meanings in our pdf chart grids. Example, opposition -0s or conjunct 2a.

Applying and Separatingi.e. is the faster moving planet/point moving to (applying) or away (separating) from the aspect being 0.000degr? Of no importance at all for 97% of people IMO.
My questions:
1. Is there a code in Extended Chart Selection for Sun/Moon Midpoint?
2. On the PDFs, why do some have a "-"?

Legend for charts/tables: Click!When you use drawing style "Ebertin(w. midpoints)" all midpoints are listed in the "Additional tables" PDF. IP: Logged |

^ The + and - you refer to could have to do with the stage of 'growing' with an aspect...Like the Moon waxes (builds up +) and wanes (grows 'past' the peak - ).
Same would count while looking at Ebertin MP's. So. Think of yourself as the 'traveler' on top of one of these planet bodies.. You're either facing TOWARDS the 'next thing' you'll encounter {plus sign +}, or (looking over your shoulder {minus sign -}) you just passed an experience or event 'with' the planet body, etc.! Einstein used to imagine himself traveling through Space on a meter-stick (yard-stick) at the Speed of Light. He discovered the Law of Relativity doing that. E=MC2 BE the Traveler!!

Thank you! I wonder if that would translate in synastry (or other charts too) with the 's', as though it were a hit and run effect. * Boom *, there it was but now * poof *. Where as the 'a' we see coming and somehow it is more a sealed energy in terms of power because we get the coming and going pov . Maybe?
