Do all planet pairs have TWO midpoints? The one occupying the shortest distance and the one occupying the longer distance between the planets?

Hey Bismarck! There are two midpoints mathematically, but in astrology we usually use the one mid the shorter distance. Also oppositions and conjunctions with midpoints are almost the same so it won't matter much which midpoint you take

Thanks! I was wondering in regards to midpoint composite charts, since apparently oppositions are the same as conjunctions in the composite.
