I'm thinking lately (read: the past few minutes lol) it would be cool if I get into this... Although I have no clue how I'd perform. Wondering what in a chart would give a person these abilities? This is my chart: IP: Logged |

In whole sign houses, your 5th house is in Libra, and your Taurus Sun is also promising, as these signs are ruled by Venus, ruling the arts.------------------ -Libra sun/Capricorn rising/Sagittarius moon- IP: Logged |

Thanks. Libra is actually my fifth house ruler regardless 😉But is it only about 'music' and 'arts'? Dunno why but I'm thinking some Mars/Uranus stuff would be involved here, simply cuz of the nature of what is actually being done? I might be wrong though. IP: Logged |

Lol dunno. It's probably my Gemini placements talking. It just went through my mind and I thought that I might really like it. If I were to answer your 'why' question though... I'm liking the 'mixing media' part most. Honestly I'm not even sure why myself. It's also the performing 'live' that appeals to me. AKA you're on the edge sort of and no place for mistakes = adrenaline rush. Also it's cool lol. Oh well. I think I got it. Unlike just playing music, mixing music you can just determine a vibe on the fly without any preset rules or anything. The potential of it isn't really set in stone. Like mixing just two songs can probably have many different feelings, depending which part of the song you choose, what you choose to add... I think I just rambled here lol. IP: Logged |

Have you ever actually tried it? Played around with it? Or are you basing this on thoughts only? IP: Logged |

Lol I have not tried it, since I don't have the necessary equipment. But I've seen a couple of YouTube clips on the goings about it... Plus there's an app simulating it, it's tougher of course... So I guess I have tried it, but on the app only. I guess it ultimately boils down to how much effort I'm willing to put in. IP: Logged |

Not how much effort... Go simple. There are professional music stores that may have studios where they let you 'play' with some of the merchandize. Just simply, go spend some time putting your hands on the equipment. Ask if it's okay for you to try it a bit. Some lounges/bar in your area might utilize DJ's. Ask if you can spend time with one -- especially 'before' the show. Ask them to explain some of the way they work. (Offer to help assemble or disassemble their equipment if they carry their equipment. Show interest.) You need some hands-on feeling of it. You could even purchase a set-up for children, who try to mimick them. Heck!, let your innerChild out to do the DJ!! (music) Techno Chicken !!!
