I used to be way more talkative when I was younger (10-15); as I get older, it seems like I'm becoming more serious, reserved, cautious, and quiet. ------------------ Cancer Rising 2nd House Leo Sun 3rd House Leo Mercury 6th House Sagittarius Moon & Pluto 1st House Cancer Venus & Mars 9th House Pisces Jupiter conjunct MC. I have the conjunction, I wouldn't say that I'm reserved or anything like that, but if I don't wanna tell you something, I'm not telling you....no matter what!!! (*tries to supress Jupiter in 1st)IP: Logged |

Yeah, I never really talk way too long on the phone like some, usually I don't even greet the ******* , its usually just "yo I want this and that...or...u wanna meet? lets meeeet! " Now I have my mom who can talk for ages on the phone, laughing for a bit, then prolonging it...and what not.. I can actually talk a lot too, or so I've found, but lets say I can go few days without talking to anyone much, but then again I have other outlets for expressing myself, if that wouldn't have been the case perhaps I would yaketty yakk yakk all the time like I do with my bro everytime we go to dine together..gemini moon says hello...ala "i can live without talking but I can't liivee without jokes!! *thats what sag moons are for* " Ohh wow I just realised you're a Sag Moon too..although I figure that Pluto would make it a bit scarier than the rest of the bunchI've encountered, but considering the fact that I have enuf pluto myself(which in itself would be an understatement considering my pullen score...and yada yada)...and considering the fact that you've got that warm warm Leo Sun, we'll do alright I guess!

Under the influence of alcohol, the not talking issue goes away. I rarely drink these days, so I'm mostly a quiet person.IP: Logged |

In regards to being reserved and cautious, I'm conservative politically. So it seems like whatever I tend to believe in is restricted by Saturn. IP: Logged |

What SecretGeek says for me.I have a lot of air, and strong fire, yet - I can become despondent about not being able to get a decent, serious, and thoughtful conversation in my surroundings from time to time. I've come to understand that it's unreasonable to anticipate this from a great proportion of interactions. I quash my desires mostly. I remain quiet, while smiling politely at the tedious trite around me. Mercury square Saturn. IP: Logged |

I don't like to talk on the phone, unless it's to someone I know really well. Even then, it's limited to just a few people, and my mother was one of them. Really, my dad and my sister (when we were speaking). I have the square, although it's wide. I'm better than I used to be online, but I'm still very awkward in person, or just quiet, unless I manage to relax for a while. IP: Logged |

I have a tight square, and it's a constant struggle to make sure I'm not misunderstood. Conversations in person are rough for me because I have to constantly edit and revise my phrasing before I say anything. It's a constant, real fear of offending people or being misunderstood. If someone doesn't have patience, I just nod in acknowledgement and give noncommittal answers. It's better to be labelled as "quiet and reserved" IMHO! Yet, imbibe me with alcohol and then all of sudden I have no filter. IP: Logged |

That I would love to see. I don't drink much, but what I avoid even more, but like a whole lot more, is molly. But the stuff is psychologically dangerous. On the other hand, I've gone in periods/cycles were it felt like I was a low dose of same in a nearly constant sense without any. Apparently some people that experience NDE's sometimes come back with similar feelings and cycles. Heart just completely wide open, and infused with love towards everything and everyone. Have a feeling that when T. Saturn and Pluto leave my Sun, T. Jupiter starts to conjoin the Mercury Sun conjunction, and progressed Moon goes into Aries, I'll be vibing pretty high at some point. I am afraid of being misunderstood, too, at times. The rest of it comes from having been bullied before. I don't drink, but I lose my filter when someone pushes me, or over things like politics.

Yes very much what cthonicstar and teasel say ^The amount of times I'm misunderstood is incredible. I'm routinely baffled. I sometimes put it down to me being a pretty deep thinker, and others generally aren't? I'm not sure if that's the Mercury square Saturn though, or other positions and aspects. IDK. IP: Logged |

Mercury sextile SaturnI was very quiet and reserved with new people and in new environment. I only talked if it was necessary which made some judgmental/sentimental people labeled me as an arrogant or unfriendly at first look (which also my ASC/Saturn and Aries moon eyes support the look). As I get older, I found that I actually love to talk as my Mercury is in 3rd house. I won't even stay in a relationship if my partner is the quietest, because it will bore me to death but also I don't like a too much talk no action person. But with people I feel I need to stay quiet (as for reasons like, they are a gossipers or two-faced people or too judgmental), I'll stay quiet and reserved around them. Mercury sextile Saturn is very beneficial I think. I can talk to authority/older people like I am the same age as them (which proofed by all of my bosses like/trust me, I actually the fastest who can get promoted but also the fastest attracting enemies who feel threatened by my presence). The aspect gives mature, rational, business thinking. It's balancing my Mercury square Pluto aspect (I can't even imagine if Saturn doesn't make an aspect to my Mercury, so I'm thankful). I like this aspect. IP: Logged |

I've a 12th house Mercury sextile Saturn. I was very very quiet as a child but I think it's more due to my 12th house placement. Saturn gives me a serious mind and I process things thoroughly before I form an opinion. As I grow older I start to become more outspoken and chatty. I think it's my Gemini rising coming through. Yes, I always feel baffled too at how people can misunderstand us in the moment. However, when I look back at the full picture, I start seeing how my comments would be taken completely the wrong way. (Especially if Uranus is aspecting both Mercury and Saturn!) I find that my mind has to digest every little morsel of information before I can come up with anything. Most people can skip the process and go straight to the answer; I simply just cannot do that! When I realized what my internal process was doing is when I stopped believing into that I'm a complete moron. Donna Cunningham pointed this out also on her blog; her clients with the aspect tended to be the least self-confident and think themselves as complete idiots; yet when they start talking about their projects or favorite subjects, they are incredibly knowledgeable, more than the average enthusiast. Cunningham describes the experience as "enough to make me cross-eyed!" Here's the link: https://skywriter.wordpress.com/2010/06/22/understanding-mercury-saturn-combinations/ I love the bit about Mercury-Saturn getting better with age! IP: Logged |
