I don't believe in comparing synastry as much as I believe as looking at each chart.Your Mom is the one with Neptune in 5th right? If so, this placement could make her the consummate romantic.
Neptune in 5th/Pisces Venus/Sun can be idealists in love and miss the "obvious" signs of an unhealthy love.
Sat in 7th makes her serious about love and platonic partnerships i.e she honours the commitment.But that doesn't necessarily mean the commitment will last.
Mars in 7th can be the type to either attract really hostile and/or abusive partners OR to be pushed towards becoming aggressors within the relationship.
Your Mom needs to watch that Mars.Either she will keep on attracting bullies & get herself into situations where she is being taken advantage of.Or she herself could unleash "the hulk" in relationships.
