What happens when your progressed moon is the same sign as your natal rising sign?

Thanks!

My progressed moon actually went into my Aquarius 12th house today. Natally, I have Aquarius rising….I believe in my 1st house… but I could be mistaken.

Progressed Moon conjunct your NATAL ASC is a BIG one, some huge change in life in one way or another. I moved after having lived for 30 years in the same appartment to a nice green more quiet place ... pretty unexpectedly as I always said I would die in my old home (but I really got a bad neighbor below me so no choice than to move..)

So keep an eye on it when yours is approaching natal ASC, in about 2 years I guess. It might put everything upside down.

I went through it almost 2,5 years ago.

Interesting!!! I have some nice trines to my ASC right now, but…..nothing out of the ordinary…..yet.

By whole sign (which is what i use), your progressed Moon started in your 1st house.

What will be clear during this period, is the strength of your emotions. Who you are(1st) will be defined by how you feel(Moon). The two looping together inextricably.

Central to this will be your connections to friends/groups or associations (Aqu). And even if you are not a "friends" type of person, there is a group/association or "tribe" that you will feel personally affected by during this time. Their trials and tribulations will also be your "ups" and "downs".

The Moon in Aqua can (by default) feel somehow energetically connected with others who share perhaps the same skin colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, marital status etc.

Even if you don't know that person personally and they are not blood family (Aqua Moons rarely feel as connected to blood relations in the same way). But you will feel a sort of resonance with them that transcends geographical location, language, culture etc. It will be a case of "injury to one is injury to all."

Take for instance the incident that happened in Iran. Where a woman died whilst in the custody of the "morality police" because she was wearing her hijab "unsatisfactorily".

Though you may not be a Muslim, nor from that country. That incident may hit a nerve because (by extension) it talks of how men (the world over) are in some way overt (or cover) policing women and limiting their liberties as human beings.

This whether talking of the hijab in Iran , abortion laws being repealed in another country or online men (like Andrew Tate, Ben Shapiro etc.) complaining about how women are more "masculine" nowadays and need to be "reigned" in etc.

All this charge may instill in you further rebellion and anarchy in how you approach relationships(7th) and others. In that you may want complete and utter freedom to be yourself and be very touchy when that freedom is limited or encroached upon.

Its not a time to corporate but follow your own compass. And typically speaking, it can be indicative of a move to live alone or to be in the company of those who share your beliefs and views on human rights and associated associated social issues.

You may be a little more "political" and "woke" than usual(as others will say). Thus alienating more conservative types who may see you as too "radical " etc.

The interesting thing about this progression is that transiting Pluto will ingress into Aqua next year 2023 too. So this may indeed suggest a re-shuffle or complete overhaul of what your views on women and women issues are(Moon).

It may even necessitate a move or the buying of a house? Something about the domestic sphere will alter. Maybe family relationships with maternal figures (most notably the Mother) will undergo destruction and rebuilding too?

This makes a lot of sense. I am trying to find my ‘tribe’ or a group to belong to. My progressed Capricorn Moon isolated me and kept me from enjoying myself because I was always tied up with work and responsibilities. I now want to work for myself and find myself again, and sever ties with the corporate world and do something creative and meaningful. I have been also thinking about become a homeowner because I am so over apartment life, it just doesn’t suit me anymore. I’ve grown out of that lifestyle.

I am on the cusp of moving into prog Moon- Cap in the angular 10th house. Currently prog Moon is in Sag 27.

Prog Moon in Sag experience coincided with the Covid pandemic. Just awful! No money, locked indoors, lacklustre opportunities available. Not great.

Also, it surprised me how "expansion-adverse " this Moon progression has been. I expected Sag Moon to be where there is more optimism, faith, risk-seeking and gambling etc. Not so.

Its been pretty booooring . And the prog Moon is arcing to conjunct my Nep/Sun on the cusp of Sag before going into Cap.

I hope the next progression will usher in some much needed progress in my life. Things have been pretty static thus far.😞
