"Don't be flattered that he misses you. He should miss you. You're deeply missable. However, he's still the same person who broke up with you. Remember, the only reason he can miss you is because he's choosing, every day, not to be with you. " how true. IP: Logged |

Yeah, and exactly what kind of satisfaction do you derive from that statement? I mean, yes, it's true, but does it really help in the end?IP: Logged |

If you don't already have the perspective the quote talks about it, I'm sure it can help bring things in to focus a little better so you don't get caught up on the idea that he misses you.IP: Logged |

I started typing and then I caught myself trying to argue for the sake of the argument. So I deleted all of it.This quote just brings me down. I wish there was more to it. IP: Logged |

It's an empowering quote to make someone remember themselves, I feel, when they've forgotten. IP: Logged |

But if you're already feeling good, it might bring you down maybe. IP: Logged |

Or maybe it's the only way some poor soul gets some closure so they can move on emotionally. It just sounds incomplete to me. There should be, there MUST be more to it!IP: Logged |

that is true, and that is good for people who need to move on. but what if he really does miss you, but just cant tell you. Maybe he feels that he made a mistake but doesnt know how to say so. things arent always what they seem.IP: Logged |

And what if he/she tells you repeatedly that they miss you, even though they're the one who ended it? Does that mean the person who was hotter than you dumped them already? Or turned out not to be hot s**t on a stick after all? You're still better off without Mr. or Ms. Ficklepants.IP: Logged |
