Hi gang.I just wanted to let you know that PA has been flooded in & the whole town has been evacuated, however PA felt safe enough to stay. She needs our prayers. My last communication with her was last night so this makes me think that she has no power at the moment. Every prayer counts! IP: Logged |

Fourth-time lucky maybe.Thank you to everyone for all your thoughts and prayers. Most of the town was evacuated on Friday. Our home is on the hill and can't flood, so we weren't evacuated, but have been flooded in. The river peaked on Friday night just below the levee - it was real close. It's now late Sunday afternoon and the river is only just starting to recede. Hubby went out earlier and found that we now have one road in and out - and amazingly - to a store and supplies. Power has been on and off and when it's been on the internet connection has decided to sh1t itself. Not sure how much that has to do with flooding or Telstra. The Aussies will get that one.  We've come out of it very well compared to most people. I'm really grateful for that. And I'm really touched by all of your thoughts and prayers - and I'm really grateful for your friendship and presence in my life. Thank you so much. IP: Logged |
