I feel like my LL experience has been by your side or maybe a few steps behind you and i can't bear to post here if you are not going to be on the threads.

I do understand totally your point of view and your reasons but i'm sure this eclipse has a LOT to do with whats going on.

We have a thunderstorm at the moment here and its vicious, angry and full of electricity. Typical of this eclipse in Capricorn with saturn opposing uranus!

Please reconsider... maybe a break instead? I BEG YOU!!!

it`s nice of you to ask me to stay. I appreciate it very much, especially since I remember we got into a fight once, too.
But somehow we managed to get through it and return to an amicable level.

Even though I do not always agree with everything you or Venus or others say, I respect and value your opinions and I can learn a lot of you both.

I have been a bit of a watcher in that "circus", and can`t help but hearing Che`s tune from the musical Evita in my mind Oh what a circus! Oh what a show!

But apart from that I am deeply saddened.

Like Glaucus I was a bit taken aback, when I had been reading Venus post about her past life experience for the first time. But she explained it to me and I realized that I had misunderstood her.

I didn`t like Glaucus to storm into this thread like he did and disappear instantly again either. But I didn`t think of it as a big tragedy, just unnessecary, and I still think, he, too, misunderstood Venus.

But it all doesn`t really matter, for it was HER experience, and I accept her belief and experiences like I accept anyone else`s. Even if I may have some difficulties to wrap my brain around some concepts.

BUT what shocked me deeply is the condescending tone of her posts, the insults and literally kicking and biting, including calling myself "dumb" (But maybe I am too sensitive here, too).

This name calling is something I just can`t deal with. I donīt want to.

Now, it went on from there, and I must say, Venus didn`t stay the only one throwing with dirt and a language I never wanted to know about.

One thing led to the other, one word followed the other and it all escalated like it did here.

I can`t say anything else but that I am shocked, saddened and appalled at what is happening here - not just by one person alone.

I like many people on her, and I still like them as people, but I am extremely disgusted by the way some members acted and how easy it seems to come to call someone else names.

This is not my way of dealing with things (I don`tk now enough hurtful and silly names, too, I guess).

I want to be able to disagree with someone without having to fear to be called dumb, stupid, insect, frog, victim, troll, whatever.

And no that is NOT directed at Venus alone; others really shined in that regard, too.

Do you still want me to stay now that you know my point of view in this?

Well, as things are, I do not think I am going to go anywhere, but I just can`t bring myself to contribute to these kinds of thread.

Excuse me, if I seem arrogant, but it is far beneath my dignity.

I just wish we finally would stop wasting our energy on useless fights among us, and start respecting and accepting each other, especially if we disagree on something.

That is when true tolerance is asked for. It is not difficult to be open, understanding and tolerant, if you are in agreement.
But if you disagree, that is when you have to learn acceptance (not you, Lara, personally, but every person, including myself).

I can't speak for Venus's thread nor the Glaucus incident as i don't want to get involved.

I think that with this current situation, moderators need to moderate and not add fuel to the fire though... which i see happening a lot on here.

It does nothing for the level of respect and it leaves a bitter taste. I agree, there is nothing worth posting about at the moment... i am posting in Magi and the eclipse thread, and thats it!

Maybe I shouldn`t have said anything about my perspective here, when Venus is not here.
But I hope she will read this thread, too.

To speak for the moderators, they are human, too, and have opinions and a right to express them.
And from there everything gets out of hand.
Enough of that now.

Anyway, we managed, and yes I learned a lot from our encounter, too. Especially about my own sore spots.

I would love to discuss the occult asteroids Venus posted, they intrigue me a LOT, especially after I saw that I have Pluto, Plato and Compassion on my MC, opposing Aura exactly on my IC with a trine / sextile to Mars on the ASC.

Any ideas what that could mean?

I agree with Koi. We are all human, and I am sure there have been threads I have left an ironic and maybe hurtful comment; just I may have been so lucky, that noone noticed.

I think in this particular case the difficulty comes in, because this is a public forum with very different views on astrology.

I for my part do like to investigate the validity and meaning of asteroids some more; I know that for others that is just "useless cr@p".

But of course noone, including myself, likes it if they feel "ridiculed" for their beliefs.

Yet, on the other hand, everyone has the right to express their opinion.
And such a public forum sometimes tempts people (not just you, but me and all others, too) to express their opinion maybe sometimes at the wrong place.

But you know I don`t have anything against you and I, too, respect your smart and down to earth approach to astrology.
I just personally like to sometimes be in "loftier" regions of astrology and find out if maybe something else might make sense, too.

Anyway, long post, short meaning:

Plato was an ancient Greek philosoph. INterestingly he wrote (first?) about the splitting of Twinsouls as well as Atlantis.
He also wrote other things; he actually was a disciple of Socrates.

I thought it wsa interesting that Plato was on my MC along with Compassion and actually this is even widely sextile Philosophia in Leo which in turn trines NN, Neptune, Atlantis, Angel and Wisdom on my ASC.
And Aura on the IC is connected to it, too.

It`s like a (albeit wide) closed circuit in my chart of:

ASC: 7 Sagittarius
Wisdom: 7 Sagittarius
Angel: 7 Sagittarius
Atlantis: 8 SAgittarius

MC: 5 Libra
Plato: 6 Libra
Comnpassion: 7 Libra
Pluto: 9 Libra

Aura / IC: 5 Aries

I don't think too many people would be pleased with what Venus has said or in agreeance with her. I also think that she's gone and left and dropped a bomb on the way out and it's roused trouble. She's gone. It's done. I've asked other Knowflakes today to let things go. I'm asking the same here. It's peace time. We're all over it for now. Even the peace keepers have battle scars at the moment. Peace - from and for everyone.

It's not about judging, you totally misunderstand me!

It's about not lowering oneself to the same level. Sure Venus was rude and obnoxious, but others were b1tchy and bitter at her comments that makes them not a lot better in my book.

Why is everyone getting so offended by generalized rudeness. We have an equilibrium to maintain and a mind we can detach from when needed.

I admit i took offense in the MJ thread and this is because Diana was personally saying things like "you are a fake" "you play games with men"
LOL
Now even though i can laugh at this, it is untrue on both counts and i absolutely will not allow someone to speak untruths about me.

Woah and bunnies get me in one. Sure i'm way too passionate sometimes but my heart is in the right place and i'm incapable of being a fake, only spotting them
