So today we went to pick up some baby supplies because we really needed to get that done. It is a rainy day here and so I wore my fleece jacket. I had to take it off shortly after we started shopping cause I was starting to feel sweaty. We got the baby things and walked towards the McD's and I sat beside the Ronald McDonald statue. My boyfriend offered to get me an iced coffee and I thought sure and I went and found a seat. I noticed the table was nice and cool.

We sat there drinking and I could start feeling sweatier and it felt like I was really about to pass out and had to find a spot on the floor cause I thought I was gonna make a nose drive to the floor. I got down on the floor, where it was nice and cool and that really helped - there were a few people staring at us but I thought so what. The manage came over and asked if I was was - I just said I was overheating and I'm pregnant.

So the rest of my mall experience, I was wheeled around in a wheel chair cause I didn't think I could make it and my boyfriend was right, I needed one of them.

So I spent the rest of the day in bed and that just tops off my needed bed rest because the baby dropped and it's creating all sorts of pressure and pain in my groin area.

I spent my first 5 months in bed and it looks like I'll be spending the last month in bed too....I feel so sad cause I don't have the energy to even go down to the car....

So that was my adventure for today. I'm glad that we were able to get baby supplies for when our bundle of joy comes.

Oh, honey - you wait til you're holding the baby in your arms - and every second of it is worth it. I promise. There's nothing like it.

That was a huge deal for you. Try to take advantage of the rest because you'll be needing all your energy very very soon by the sounds. Baby dropping means not much longer to go. You're gonna be great.

I'm walking around with cold cloths now to keep from overheating. I haven't gone through regular labor as I was induced with my daughter 7 years ago.

I am 1 CM dilated now.......

I have people around me saying that the baby may be here within a week.....due date is August 10th....some u'/s have put down that due date is August 19th.....

Mentally I'm not ready to give birth yet.....but I remind myself that I was up on a zip line before and went down it....that is a scary thing for most....right now I'm still sitting on the platform waiting till I'mn ready to go zipping down....

Oh gawd...the pelvic bone pain during the last weeks of pregnancy. I remember that...you have to waddle everywhere.

Take good care of yourself!

What sign do you want the babe born under? If you can hold out another week...Leo sun!!! One of my fave signs...they're so sunny, I love Leo energy (I'm a Sag sun)

Do you know if it is a girl or boy?

Yeah, I have one speed and that is waddle around. The doc told me to go rest in bed.....and since I'm overheating and feeling faint that is another reason why I'm on rest.

She might be a Leo......the due date is when the Sun is in Leo. A 13 Degree Leo Sun would trine my Sun and 7 year old's Pluto in Saggy. My IC is at 14.52 of Leo.

An early Virgo would be neat.....Her sun would trine My mercury (Chart ruler) and opposite my Venus in Pisces.

Around August 9th Mars will be at 19 Gemini - which is my Ascending degree and my 7 year old has Sat at 18 Gem, Sun at 21 Gem and Node at 19 Gem.

Hard to say.....ah I shall see what happens

We had an u/s in March and we found out the gender cause my bf wanted to know so I asked and they she the baby is a girl.. My bf really wants a boy in the worst way......I've told him he only gets 1 baby and that is it cause I'm not going through another pregnancy again.....he'll have to get snipped.

My bf is an Aquarius.......

I had a baby on Aug. 10th! Ten years ago!

I remember thinking what on earth was I thinking to get myself in this predicament at this time of year! It was all I could do to get off the couch and away from the fan!
But I had a 7 year old and a 2 year old, still in diapers. The 2 year old I mean!
Anyway, it went by so fast!
Just sit and watch some movies, read something different, let your housework slide, argue with people cause you can get away with it, combing your hair is optional, but it does make you feel better.
Use soft pillow to hold under your belly to balance out, takes the stress off your other muscles.
Get someone to rub your feet with a lotion that has mint in it.
Eat a orange popsicle.
Dream.....

Before you know it!

GypseeWind,

Sounds like my life now. The BF is doing the house work and I'm just napping, sitting at the computer or doing something else. Though never thought of using a pillow. I think I'll get my bf to massage me. I've been craving lots of chocolate and coffee.....every once in a while I'll get a hazelnut Ice Cap Supreme from Timmies loaded with lots of whipped cream and chocolate drizzle....

Eventually Lil Missy will arrive......

Bless your heart, girl.

I know all too well that experience. I was in Target exchanging things that I got doubles of on my registry and thought I was going to keel over yesterday. They only have the ride on motorized wheelchairs there, and I would feel like a tool using them as I have already gotten mean looks from elderly ladies when I am in a normal wheelchair (I am on bed rest and HAVE TO use them if I must go shopping, so I decided to walk and use the cart for support. Bad plan! By the time we left (and we were only there about 20 minutes) I was laying on the cart and my sister was guiding me outside to the car rubbing my back. I have been really lucky about not getting too hot here though, the northeast has been raining pretty much all summer so far.

I hope everything goes well for you, you must be excited to experience labor without induction! Stay off your feet and enjoy this time that people do things for you, it won't happen again (I've been told.. lol)!

Good luck!!

It looks like if I have to go shopping then a wheelchair is needed. It is very hard to see my beautiful independence go out the window. These days I'm not even sure if I can walk my 7 year old to the park.

I thought a cart would help me too......nope, it didn't cause I still felt like getting close to the ground....

We're just getting into a warm weather weekend and there are a few things that I would like to attend....the church picnic and this Salsa Festival being held in my neighborhood....but there are no wheelchairs at my place.....

my bf spoils me rotten and takes very good care of me and so does my 7 year old - she keeps an eye on me and will bring me stuff if she sees I need it most of the time. I get lots of hugs from her (She has 4 cancer planets)

Thank you!

Are u expecting too?

I am. I'm almost 34 weeks and have been on bedrest since 27 weeks when I went into pre-term labor. It's been an experience, I'll tell you what! Hard, but totally worth it, I'm sure!

First child?

Most things in life can be interesting experiences I find.

My LMP age is 36 weeks! Next week I'll be 37 weeks and the u/s has me a week or two behind. With things coming as they have, she may be early.

Have you been able to find hobbies that you can do to pass the time away?.....Pretty soon your baby will come! CONGRATS!

I'm almost at the point where I wish I could find a zip line and go down it......the nervousness of giving birth and the frustration of having to sit around adds up....
